Works well on my radios, good reception. I have a couple of these.

I am giving this a 4.5 star because it worked really well. I just couldn't find a spot in my room to install it without it being an eye sore that my wife couldn't get around so I am returning it for a copper wire version that can be hidden.This unit performed good and I can recommend it to anyone that likes or wants this type of antenna. I seen people complaining about it failing down. Either I am missing something they were doing but for me, if you just turn the antenna 90 degrees it can't fall because the joint it swivels on can't bend down.Good antenna.

In the last month or so, I've purchased this antenna 3 times! First I bought one for a digital converter box to watch TV over the air without paying for a service. It worked so good that I gave it away to a friend who wanted to watch basic TV for free. I then replaced the antenna and realized that I could plug the antenna directly into my basic Samsung TV (without the digital converter box). I get a lot of channels for free now, like 50 or more (I live in San Francisco, so it may vary in your location). I get all the basic channels and much more (maybe 3 or 4 PBS feeds). Most of those channels I'm not interested in, but it's great. And finally, I remembered that sometimes it was hard to dial in on my Tivoli radio. I added the antenna and it's a helps getting the channels dialed in. Anyway, I recommend the antenna. The cord is pretty long. It has a magnetic base, but I just stand them up by the window. It's a heavy enough base that it stands up by itself. I haven't used the adaptors, but it's nice to have. Hope this helps.

Yes it does help, but don't expect too much.

I was hoping that this would work better than the flat type for TV. While it did perform better. It still was not the answer for my situation. But, I would say you have more flexibility then the flat type of TV antenna.

Well-constructed antenna. Nothing shoddy about it. Strong magnet in its base assures it won't move. Easy installation.

My receiver is inside a concrete patio cabinet, needless to say, poor reception. It would rarely pick up all the major FM stations and I’m just 30 min outside of Houston. I have cheaper wire antennas the receiver came with, no success. I bought this one and instantly I get all stations. No static, no going in and out. And I can keep my cabinet door shut and and doesn’t go off when I walk by. Works awesome!

Works vey good. Now I can enjoy my radio in my shop without interruption.
