Ridgid R862005 18V JobMax Base and Multi-Tool Head (Battery Not Included, Power Tool Only)

Great little tool but Ridgids word means nothing. When I tried to sign up for the lifetime warranty Ridgid said NO. Just because it says "lifetime warranty" on the box they will not let me register it for the lifetime warranty. Only if purchased from Home Depot will they honor the warranty Beware they do not really mean what is printed on the box. Good tool but find a more reputable manufacturer of you ever want good customer service.

Great tool !! My freind had one that I used , and loved it ,but I had a corded Bosch that worked, but gave me trouble. So now that my Bosch has bit the dust I bought the Ridgid cordless and man it is AWESOME. I also bought the charger with the two batteries. It's always nice to have great tools.

So far I'm not too entirely impressed with this tool. Which brings me great sadness because I have had no issues with any other Ridgid tool whatsoever. It is a very solid brand. Unfortunately for this tool the little release lever for the blade is plastic and it is attached to the head of the tool buy a few metal pegs of sorts. And so far that little plastic lever is already come off completly and when the tool is on it just vibrates and slides down. It also for some reason is what I'm assuming overheating relatively quickly. Because it stops working and the light starts flashing or you have to tap it for it to turn back on.

This is so much cheaper than any retail store and it is the exact same product you will buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Our use this every single day for every application it is a great value.

Tool is great. If you don't care about a warranty than go ahead and get it. I'd personally go to Home Depot and spend the extra $13 for the lifetime warranty. I've used it on my other tools and save hundres of dollars.
