Great doll and a great way to diversify your toy box!
I have both the CAU Cheer Captain doll Alyssa and the Homecoming Queen Nicole doll (the latter purchased off of eBay but pics posted here so if someone is on the fence, they know what she looks like). They’ve got silky smooth hair, and are very sturdily built with nice legs, arms, and a plastic torso. They’re constructed like AG’s Wellie Wishers in that respect but with a more durable plastic.This company was started by a woman who wanted to celebrate the “magic” and allure of the historically black colleges and universities in the US. They’re based in Plano, TX, and are owned by an African American female entrepreneur so you can win three times by supporting this company.The HBCyoU dolls are a more affordable version of the Healthy Roots dolls but just as important and just as important for diversification of your toy box.

This doll is absolutely beautiful. I wish they can in a box in which they could be displayed. Must take them out of the box in order to display. But that’s the case for a lot of the 18 inch dolls

FAMU cheer
Listen this doll is so cute and she adds the perfect decor to my office! The only thing I do not like is they do not include a doll stand which she clearly needs bc no matter how I adjust her hands or legs she refuses to stand on her own. Constantly falls over🤦🏾♀️ but extremely cute!

My Grandaughter is turning 24. This doll looks just like her, I don’t think I could have ever found a doll like this in Sydney, not that I wanted to buy her a doll but the resemblance is so striking I couldn’t resist. It arrived well before time and it looks perfect
