I had to fix it
It was fitted and didn't work. Manufacturer informed me that it had to be returned to the supplier. Purchased via Amazon; Amazon said I had to go back to the manufacturer. Manufacturer then found the supplier. In the end, it was a simple manufacturing fault that was causing the problem. I fixed it myself and it's worked ok since without jeopardising functional safety. Informed manufacturer of the problem being with them and quality control at their end. Probably never done anyway because product probably made in China and shipped to them with their name on it.
