An excellent safety device
Well made. Good quality finish. Easy to install.I installed it and showed to a neighbor who had fallen on his steps and broken a bone in his wrist. He has ordered one for his home.

Sturiness
Solid weldment & not & assembly ... Very sturdy if screwed to studs ... I had to drill extra holes to hit the studs with 6 screws ... I used deck screws 21/2" ... They might consider adding holes in the center of the plate to hit the studs in 2 places for each hole .... Could be 5 " or 6" longer ...

screwed them into wall studs and they will do the trick for a long time. if you took more care with installation and braced them properly, they would be even better. good order

Good quality, other than the cheap included hardware.
When you purchase these hand rails make a trip to the hardware store if necessary and buy some heavy duty exterior rated 3" long six lobe screws and the bit if you need it. The included screws are nothing better than drywall screws that are way to weak and soft, Phillips headed, to truly crank these things down to the wall as needed. The handrails themselves are very nice it's a shame they didn't spend a few more nickels and include hardware up to the quality of the rails. DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED HARDWARE and you will love them. The junk hardware is definitely worth a star reduction, requiring a shopping trip before installation.

Great Addition to our safety
Excellent build quality. Very attractive and easy to install. Very sturdy when screwed to door jam. I did get some longer stainless screws at hardware store to increase stability in my situation. Would recommend it without reservation.

Very sturdy and useful
For seniors this has been a useful addition for that little step up or down into or out of the front door. It is even sturdy enough to lean against a little when trying to manage passage with groceries or other items in hand
