Just what I needed works very well

I ordered this virtue curl leave-in- butter in hope that it would help define my medium/thickish, curly /wavy hair without leaving my hair weighted down, sticky and stiff . This leave -in- butter was able to do just that help bring out my natural curly/ wavy hair without me having to use a diffuser or spending a lot of time in the bathroom.This product is really easy to use all you have to do is wash your hair and somewhat towel dry your hair and apply from the roots to the bottom of your hair as you scrunch your hair with your hands. The butter has a creamy medium/light texture to it. It keeps your curls in all day long, which is a plus. It's easy to wash out as well with shampoo unlike spray gel. When the product dries it leaves your hair feeling super soft and well conditioned/ moisturized. You don't need to use a lot of the product for it to work and if you do your hair will look and feel greasy once dry.I honestly couldn't smell any scent to it but my nose has been a little weird lately so there might be a light scent to it possibly.

This curl cream is lightly scented, but a little heavy. I've used it on 3 of my kids' hair (they all have curly hair, but very different curl patterns). You definitely want to apply to wet hair and only use a small portion. It doesn't help with frizz or edges, and feels rather thick and greasy if you use too much. It doesn't define curls like I had hoped either.Overall, I'm not a big fan...

The product works fine, it has a strong smell that gave me a headache. Not unpleasant, just a bit too much. I love virtue products in general, just not this one. I would like to return it with a refund, but I am 3 days past the return date. Only 30 days are allowed. This is too strict of a policy for hair care products. I would like to return this item.

I have waist length, thick, wavy hair that tends to fall flat yet is frizzy most days. I really like the Virtue Curl Leave-in Butter to help protect my hair and tame the frizzies. First, it smells amazing! The scent is light and fabulous. It is a bit sweet and a bit rich. I can't describe it other than to say it reminds me of the products offered in high-end salons. Both women and men could use and enjoy this product. Next, it absorbs easily into hair softening and protecting it without weighing it down. My waves aren't usually well-defined, but this works with my waves allowing me to wear my hair down without heat straightening it. Finally, the ingredients in this product are top-tier. Among other ingredients, this includes shea butter, jojoba, linseed extract, keratin, panthenol, multiple plant-based extracts, lactobacillus ferment, and other beneficial components. I'm a huge fan of this hair butter!

I use a few Virtue products, so I thought this might be a good product to try, too. I have thick, curly hair and, based on the description, it seemed that this product would be great for my hair. BUT I found the product to be anything but buttery. It was heavy and felt pasty. The smell, which I noticed many likes, was too chemically for me. And I felt like it dried my hair out. I had been using their Healing Oil before with very good results - I always receive compliments on how my hair looks. Well, I'm going to back to it and dropping the VIRTUE Curl Leave-in Butter.

This product definitely worked great on my hair texture. Nice pleasant smell and kept my natural curly hair curly. Not to greasy. Left my hair feeling very soft. Good quality product!!

This hair butter is amazing! I have naturally wavy, fine hair and happen to live in an area with immense humidity and heat, so, most days I don’t bother doing anything with my hair as there is no point. I am so grateful that I found this. My curls have never looked better. Not only does this butter define my waves into curls, my hair feel hydrated while not feeling greasy. It seems to last all day as well. I apply it to my wet/damp hair, scrunch it and place it in a silk bonnet to sleep in and I wake up with beautiful natural curls. The scent is a little difficult for me to describe but it’s not unpleasant imo. Will be purchasing this again in the future!
