I bought this lock for my double gate on my privacy fence. I didn't use the screws that came with it because the heads kept breaking off. Extremely solid product other than that.

Was looking for a lock for cargo trailer to lock outside and inside at same time. This works perfectly. Was more expensive but the $35 cheaper one didn’t work so def worth it

This gate lock seems to be very sturdy. It's easy to install and looks nice to boot! The bolt action when using the key is very smooth. Hope the bolt action stays smooth over time!

After about a year of using, it barely works. Sometimes will not open, other times won't close unless we try MULTIPLE times and wiggle it

I'm not often surprised by things I order on Amazon, but this time I was. For the price this lock is absolutely amazing! The steel is very high quality, the dead bolt is extra long (if you have a gap in your fence), and it comes with FIVE high quality keys.Installation isn't simple--though it was for me--because you need to be able to cut a hole for the cylinder (which opens with the key from either side). The cylinder is long enough to go through a 2 1/2 inch fence, which is what I needed.Excellent product, can't praise it enough.

I loved that I could unlock my gate from the outside and the inside. The key cylinder started acting funny, , a few weeks after install, it got so bad it, it was going to fail. So I replaced with a regular old gate latch. Disappointed.

The one thing I noticed the plate where the bolt bar goes Through does not allow for too much wiggle room up and down if using on a gate may have issues if gate settles from freezing and thawing though I did not need it for what I am using it for. Great secondary use metal/wooden safe lock be very hard to break into. Third use would be running anchor bolts through a door and lock nut it on and cut a square hole in door frame probably be better for metal door and frame extra length be harder than normal deadbolt to pry open.

This lock looks good and strong. Unfortunately the manufacturer failed miserably. Holes in the lock bar and end of bar allow for water build up, leading to freezing. Lock will jam in almost any weather, but will freeze solid at zero degrees. Makes it impossible to open from either side without a heat gun.Even the mounting screws are a complete fail.Mounting screws started rusting after 2 days. Seller should stop selling until all problems have been resolved.

Very good quality, but not similarly keyed when I ordered two

Lock barrel regularly gets jammed and I have to physically push the bolt across the open /close. The bolt is also starting to rust after about a month of use.

As far as a lock goes, it is sturdy and works well. I installed this on my house fence and the steel is good quality. The issue that bothers me is that the stainless steel screws have scratched the black coating of the lock and now is rusted in those scratched areas.
