at first hearing them in the package they sounded quite small, but to my surprise they are perfect :)

They barely make a sound. Just use for decoration
I wanted these for a door so I know when it's being opened. The sound is very faint. You can't hear them, so just for decorations they're fine.

Very Cute, untraditional noise
These bells are cute and arrived in good condition. They will be perfect for adding as an accent to presents which is what I intended them for. They do make noise, but it sounds more like someone shaking a morocco than a bell chiming. Great for crafts, maybe not what you want to if you're planning to attach to a pet or for some other noise making purpose.

Jingling Bells
I like to put these on things so that I can find them-I have some authentic camel bells (also purchased on Amazon) but those are real brass and much heavier though they are about the same size. Bells cheer me up, what can I say?
