PlayMates Star Trek TNG Captain Jean-LUC Picard 5 inch Action Figure

Playmates Toys hit the target with these new releases: the likeness, body proportions & articulation are spot on.It's a shame that Playmates Toys cancelled the line of figures so fast after their release!These newer versions are an immense improvement over their Star Trek lines from the 1990's!A really great product that sadly we'll never see more characters.

Looks better than I remember it looking when I was a kid. It is a dead ringer for Stewart. Packaging was solid. My only grumble is that on the front right is a "35 years" logo which really breaks the lie that these are OG toys that I am trying to tell myself.I have no plans on opening this anytime soon, so I cant give too many details about the toy itself.

I really like this figure, as a kid I had the Galoob Picard figure but not the original playmates I missed that opportunity because I'm also a Star Wars fan and was collecting Star Wars figures at the time. Jean Luc Picard has always been my favorite captain since listening to the audiobook of Star Trek Generations with my Dad as he drove 18 wheeler across the USA one summer. As I said I missed collecting the original release so now that I am an adult I can collect both Star Wars and Star Trek among a few other things. The likeness on this 35th Anniversary edition of the figure is amazingly good has a real resemblance to Patrick Stewart. Also the retro package is awesome as well.

So I bought this as a gift, something cheaper that could be displayed without worry as it's posable (it's likely going to go on a desk and will probably get knocked off sooner or later).Quality wise it looks better than the photos and actually looks like Picard. Sorry no photo didn't think about a review, my sister was very happy with it though.

I'm a Star Trek fan and especially Star Trek TNG. I purchased Picard, Riker, and Data because they had the most accurate likeness to the original characters on the show. Was not disappointed with my purchase. I'm using them for display purposes only.

Finally a Captain Picard figure that fans can be proud of!! With facial similarities to Sir Patrick Stewart ( cannot compare with the Prof X or previous Star Trek figures) this looks great. Although the paintjob can be slightly improved, this is a definitive figure of the Captain of the Enterprise D🖖

Habe die drei next Gen Figuren bestellt. Angekommen, ausgepackt ... Zwei Packungen waren richtig beschädigt, die dritte konnte ich mir zurechtbiegen :)... Retoure angemeldet zwei zurück geschickt. Gleich noch mal bestellt und jetzt auch keinen kostenfreien Versand mehr da nicht mehr über 39,-€. Wieder gespannt gewartet und ... ebenfalls beschädigt... Für Sammler ungenügend. Amazon nimmt die Retouren zwar an aber Qualität in der Zustellung sieht echt anders aus ...
