They arrived in good condition and great to provide for young scouts going on camping/hiking trips as well as family members.

Checked all against my cellphone and good military compass. Half of them would not point correctly, other 5 were pointing in "general direction" and 5 were spot on.Decided to keep it as I needed 3 only

Works like a cheap compass! Not sure how accurate it is but north points north as well as a kid should know. We used them for a church activity and it worked perfectly for that.

Does what was expected, half the time. If you bought these for some projects where exact heading is needed, that was an error. I expected them to kind of, almost, sort of point to north. Some do. Well, I took six out of the package, lined them up far enough apart that they weren't going to interfere with each other. Checkee them against the most reliable compass I have. Three are sort of pointing in the correct direction (the row on the right) the left row are all pointing in weird directions. I think it's because there's not enough oil in the dot to make them spin correctly. For the price they look good and for my project they suffice, so I'm calling this a win.

These were not accurate at all.I purchased them to use in an outdoor classroom setting. 1 out of 40 worked properly. Cheaply made. Should have known better due to cheap price. I threw them away.

Made a compass wall to observe magnetic fields. Worked well in this application.

These are very nice additions I add to the walking sticks I make. While the accuracy is not high level it does give a rough enough answer to help you out of trouble.
