ICEPURE Reverse Osmosis System Under Sink, 600 GPD, 1.5:1 Pure to Drain, TDS Reduction, Smart Faucet, Real Time TDS Reading, NSF/ANSI Standards, USA Tech, Tankless RO Water Filtration

I was a little skeptical when I bought this. It wasn’t too hard to install. I already had a ro system so I was familiar with it. The YouTube installation video was very helpful. I was concerned it would be slow. It is not. It does take a couple of seconds for the water to start once you turn it on, but it flows good after it starts.

Switching to reverse osmosis has been a huge upgrade for me from my old setup of using ceramic gravity filters. I now don't have to worry about any carbon seeping into my drinks, or anything! And it works, from about 38 TPS, with the gravity filters I got it to around 28, but with this setup 2 (room temp), or 8 (hot). The water heating setting allows me to get rid of my old water heater too!I do have skepticism regarding the 5:1 pure to drain they advertise though. The tank has two sections, 1 which holds 3L, and the other 2L. When the "change water" light pops up, the 2L section is usually full, which I'm assuming is the waste water. However, that effectively makes it a 1.5:1 system. Now, if I decide to keep pouring out water, eventually there will be a "lack water" light, and no more water would be poured out. There, it seems that there's 1L left in that 2L tank, and no more water comes out, so I assume the internal drain must be empty also, which could make it maybe a 5:1 (3+1 in the tank + the "2L" in the internal). If we include the internal tank though and when they ask to change the water, it'd be more of a 2.5:1 though (2L waste, 2L internal + 3L tank).

IcePure countertop RO system is great, water taste good, it provides room temperature water, and hot water too (I like this feature very much). But after removing the water tank several times to discard the waste water and add new water the CHANGE WATER light wouldn’t turn off, it seem to think the water hasn’t been replaced or thinks the tank is empty. Only after reseating the water tank several times then the water tank was finally accepted.Can’t have that issue so I reached out to [email protected] to hopefully resolve the problem. I got an immediate response, maybe an hour later from Aurora. She gave me several troubleshoot pointers and several emails later she decided that she will send out a new one. For customer support I give IcePure a 5 star, quick response and quick resolution. I should get the replacement in 3 days.As for the RO unit, I would give it a 4 stars. 5 star if there was no issue. Hopefully the replacement will be perfect so I don’t have to carry water jugs to my 2nd floor apartment.

At first I get strange taste even after flushing the filter more than 3 times as instructed. Then I pull out the replacement part, drain the waste water and put that back twice and the strange taste have gone. Anyway, it is a very good product and really easy to use. The water quality is good after filtered. TDS drop from more than three hundred to forty.

It is a good machine. My kid likes different temperatures. However, the replacement is not available. It is a big big problem. The machine now is a waste.

Updated:It’s was my mistake, the old outlet pipe was have issue. Replaced the faulty pipe. Will update after 15 daysOldI bought this item and replaced with Frizzlife, thought not have tank based flitter system.But I made a worst selection. I feel I am drinking just tap water. Now I don’t have packages I to return and end keep this. Feel donated money for this company.

I don’t have to buy water anymore

originally, I gave it a two star because the water still tasted the same even have to find directions. I’m changing it to a four star. Water started tasting better, and I did stop by water bottles so that’s great.
