Signora Volpe: Series 1

This was a great gift for a mystery fan.

This is an excellent show. Little slow-moving at first to set the stage of events, but once it gets going it is really great. Signora Volpe is a badass MI6 agent who needs to get away and does so in Italy for her niece's wedding Everything goes wrong that can go wrong and dangerously so (first episode) and the other 2 episodes were equally intriguing, intense and well-written, and well-acted, highly recommend. I hope there will be more seasons.

The producers and writers of this series reflected the forces at work in current Italy and the protagonist portrays her character skillfully. It's filmed in beautiful countryside.

Loved the series and want to see more.

Loved Signora Volpe …. excellent series, excellent cast. When will Series 2 be released in the US?

Inventive, fun, well written and acted, and beautifully filmed. I've described it as Enchanted April with spies. I hope very much that there will be further -- and longer -- seasons of this winner of a show.

This disc did not play on my DVD player. I bought it in July and waited too long to try it so evidently my time period for returning it is now over and I can't return it. But I noticed a very blurry black sentence that said "disc made in mexico" on the back cover at the bottom. I would assume that this is the reason that it did not play. Be warned.

This is an entertaining, well written, well acted and superbly cast thriller/drama. The scenery of North Central Italy is to die for, as is the architecture. I will be heartbroken if there is no season 2.

This ia a lovely movie...it takes place in Italy and the atmosphere portrayed is ok. It goes on and you want more...to see the results.

Diese DVD hätte ich beinahe zurückgeschickt, weil sich diese britische Original-DVD auf meinem normalen Gerät nicht abspielen lässt. Nur auf einem alten portablen Billig-Gerät lief sie. Gab es eine entsprechende Warnung oder habe ich sie überlesen? Dies war das erste Mal, dass ich eine britische DVD über Amazon.de gekauft habe. Über Amazon.co.uk hatte ich schon öfter DVDs aus UK gekauft, die alle problemlos liefen. Warum ist es bei dieser DVD anders?
