The door covers I purchased had really good ratings and worked good
I purchased their seat cover for my Ford F350 truck a few years ago. At the time, they only had it in black. I purchased some other manufacture's car door covers to go with them, as 4Knines did not have them at the time. The door covers I purchased had really good ratings and worked good. Recently I saw that 4Knines started making tan seat covers. I purchased one to match my truck's interior better and the dog's hair, that she leaves all over the seat cover. I then saw that 4Knines also started making door covers, and in tan. I purchased them as well to match the new tan seat cover. They match great, as they should as they are both made by 4Knines. They fit the back doors of my F350 even better then the other door covers I had before. They cover more of the door, they are more rugged, and if they are made like the old back seat cover I got from 4Knines, they are also better built. They come with Velcro and plastic tabs. I do not use the Velcro, as we are in the dessert and I have found that the heat just melts the adhesive and make a mess. This has four plastic tabs that insert between the window and the window seal, and are sewn on. They hold very well as my dog like to lean on the door when we are driving. I can also roll the windows down and up with out them moving. I would not drive very fast with the windows open as I would be afraid of them blowing out. I have not had them that long, but if the stitching is as good as the old black seat cover, they should hold up very well.

Just as advertised
This door cover serves its purpose well. I didn't want to slide the tabs into the window slot for fear of scratching the glass or disturbing the rubber gasket in the slot, so I just used the three velcro stickers at the top of the cover. These adhered just fine to the top of the door, and held the door cover just fine. I am leaving the velcro on the top of the door to attach the door cover whenever necessary. They look fine. Good product.

Good so far but not perfect
The tan color seen on screen is pretty much what it looks like outside. I would have liked to see it in a lighter color but it would probably be more difficult to keep clean. I tend to like the look and feel of softer fabrics (micro suede) but I can see how this is better in the sense that it won’t collect dog hair. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak to how well they hold up after a wash and whether stains come off easily since this is a light color fabric. They come with an adhesive backing which I’m guessing will hold them down better, but I would never use them because I don’t want to damage the leather in my car. Unfortunately, this means that they don’t stay down well when you have to roll the window down and back up. My dog is always begging to have the windows lowered. While these door protectors install very easily, they also come off very easily after rolling the windows down and back up a couple of times. Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any door protectors that have gotten this issue down. I think this particular line is solid in terms of quality and aesthetics.

Extremely well made
I purchased this product and tried to install them as instructed. I tried to use the tabs to install to between the window and door with no luck. There was absolutely no space.......So then I attempted to install them using the self adhesive Velcro. It initially stuck but fell off both doors quickly. So I called 4Knines customer service. Their customer service is excellent. I was given an alternative method to try. I decided to go about installing them my way after thinking about it. I went to Lowes, purchased some TREX adhesive transfer tape. It is not the paper thin transfer tape. It's about 1" in width x 1/16" thick and is advertised to hold up to 15 lbs. I put the tape all the way across the upper part of each panel. Installed them yesterday and they are still holding fast. Now I am 100% satisfied !!!!!!

Way too pricey for not being adaptable/adjustable.
I previously purchased a 4Knines hammock and was very pleased with the product. The design was well thought out and the quality was excellent. Not so with the 4Knines door protectors. My vehicle is a 2013 Mazda CX-5. The tabs that slide into the door are not holding the protector pads in place…at all. The pads were falling off even as I was installing them. What the heck? The tabs are too short, too flexible and too thin to lodge firmly against the glass. Adhesive Velcro strips are provided but that is not acceptable for anyone (at least 95% of us) that gives a hoot about permanent adhesive being left in four spots along the top of each door. Close to $80 for four pads is way too high for a product that comes with no options for adaptation, given that this item needs to fit an endless variety of car makes and models. Why not provide adhesive addons to thicken the tabs to compensate for the inevitable variance of window space among different car makes and models? There also needs to be an option to remove the section of the pad that covers the door handle and door locks. That section could have a handy Velcro connection so that it can be removed and also reapplied. Those two simple adaptations would make this product almost worth eighty dollars. Unfortunately, these items will be returned. Very disappointed.

4Knines Dog Car Door Cover
I do really like these and they appear to be above average....good quality. We did our first long trip with the window gazers/lizards/noses and they held up well. Only once did one get pulled out off the door but I do believe my black and tan was being a stinker. I really like these pads.....they are tougher than any I have had before.

Don't waste your time.
Very thin, does not cover rear door for BMW. Does not stay in place and is nothing like the BMW product I had prior. 1/4 of the door is still exposed so as long as you don't mind you expensive car doors scratched (wood and metal), they may work great. I want my $$ back.

Installed in one minute. Works like a charm.
It’s well made. Fits my Tesla back seat perfectly. Plus, the skirt that protects the front of the seat really covers the whole front of the seat. They didn’t short it on material to save a few cents and I appreciate that.

So glad I bought the door covers that match the seat cover!
You won't find a product that is of higher quality than this.

Good protection. Install process needs work.
Bought this to protect rear doors of brand new super-duty. Protects most of the door panel. Installation needs improvement - clips that slide between door and glass at top of door panel, and double sided velcro to keep the protection in place.Double sided Velcro has 2 issues - who wants to have that stuck on their vehicle, and two, it doesn’t adhere to door and continuously comes off.Like the product. Don’t like how it attaches.

Door savers
I transport many dogs and some like to paw at the doors. These are saving my door's interior. Easy to place. I have to keep adjusting as they have slips to slid into wind track but the velcro has nothing to adhere to unload I place sticky pieces to my interior door. I'd rather just keep placing then back up periodically without adhering them.

You must stick velcro on to your vehicle interior
I did not like that I had to install the velcro directly onto the interior of the door to have them stay in place, otherwise they just fall off each time a dog jumps on them,
