Great set of LEDs for your RV
The media could not be loaded. I bought this set because I needed about 10 feet of white LED strip lighting for under cabinet lighting. Decided to get the RGB LED strip to give me some more lighting options. I was able to cut off 10' (with a little bit of soldering) for my under cabinet lighting, and had enough left over some above cabinet party lights, too. The remote works quite well, even outside the RV (it's RF so it does not need line of sight) The sticky tape on the strip light actually holds quite well, but I did need to use the included super-sticky tape in a few spots. Easy to use, 12VDC power. If 12VDC is applied to the strip without the controller plugged in, it defaults to white (it's nice and bright bit of a blueish-white) or if you use the controller you have command of a wide variety of colors and effects. You can change the color, brightness, and speed of the LEDs, as well as choose from 9 preset colors, cycle through 366 preprogramed lighting effects, or just leave it on auto and let it do it's own thing. It remembers it's last setting, so if you turn it off or 12VDC power is removed, it will turn back on in it's last configuration. I may get another set to do the other side of the cabinets.

I thought I had another bad string other then the one I have already returned
The media could not be loaded. OK, this is the verdict:The strings will NOT work joined after 5 strings.I put up 10 of the strings joined, with one controller and power supply for each string. After the 5th string, the 6th only lights up the first foot. then nothing after that.If I use a controller on the string that did not work, then it will light up fully, but if I connect it to the 5th string, No lights.I thought I had another bad string other then the one I have already returned, but even after trying out the remaining 4 strings, none of them worked. This is a disappointment, as I have put the light string all around my house hidden in the awning, so people only see the lights, and I was hoping that the single controller would be able to handle the entire string length, giving a good light show, but I just cannot make it work.If anyone knows of a trick or a fix, let me know. For the time being, I have installed a second controller at string #6 so I now have 2 different controllers, with different light effects which does not look good.So the sellers claim that one can connect up to 20 strings is NOT correct...Other than that... I like the different patterns of lights.. it really looks cool, I just wish I could hook up all the strings to one controller...Edit: There is a way, the seller came thru with a solution. I have attached 11 strings together with a single conroller, each strip has its own power supply, but they all work as ONE. The whole thing looks AWESOME!!

Junk
Received and installed on my rv. Remote quit working after 1 day. Put new battery in remote and still nothing. Beware of this cheap junk!

Amazing! Works great.
366 different modes of operation. You'll have fun just swapping through them all. A huge number of colors, all of which are remarkably bright. 10 level speed control, 32 levels of brightness. Has an "RGB sequence adjustment function" which isn't adequately explained. Manual is about useless, just a diagram of the remote with some ambiguous explanation of the adjustment function. Shipped in a nice box with a storage reel for the LEDs themselves. It would get 5 stars if it had a better explanation of how to program it and if it were a bit less expensive.Haven't had it long enough to comment on reliability.

Loving it looks great and bright like how it comes with a remote can change the brightness and all kind of colors

Just about the coolest car footwell lighting possible
Amazerbeams. Works perfectly. Definitely wise to go with waterproof regardless of application as it is less likely to get damaged. I used these for footwell lighting in my car and it's awesome. Had to learn how to solder (you could use connectors) and wire to the fuse box using a fuse tap, but it was worth it. Nobody has lights like these in their cars because there aren't any addressable led kits (dream color) for that purpose.USEFUL FACT:When the off button is pressed, it saves the last run solid color or sequence, brightness, and speed. If power is cut and then restored later, it resumes the saved color or sequence. Ex. Red is selected, off button pressed, remove power, restore power, Red light, switch to blue-yellow sequence, cut power, restore power, Red light. So everytime I start my car it's dim red light, but if I feel like having a disco I have the option. And if I want to change the red to something else I just have to hit the off buttonAnother useful fact: The sticky backing works on some surfaces and not so well on others. BUT the extra double-sided tape included will stick anything to anything (probably permanently)

Installed on RV
The media could not be loaded. This is a great set of lights just takes some TLC to get them to look straight and to hide the wires for a clean install. I used paracord to get the line straight after I leveled the camper. I cut the 110 volt wall connector end off and added a 10 amp fuse (fuseable link sold separately). I then connected the positive lead (the side that has writing on it) to the outside light switch to my camper and the other to ground. The install took some time as I took off the roof FM antenna and dropped the power cord straight into the power box where the light switch and stereo was. Then I had to reseal around the antenna with some roof sealant. Sounds complicated but totally worth it for a pro install. The sticky side of the lights could be better as I had to return one set due to the double sided tape being sub par. The second set was excellent. Also the extra tape it comes with is not enough to re string the entire length of the lights. It's to do patch work if a section comes off. In the end it was all worth it.

Great when all lights work
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to add some creative lighting in the hallway, especially for my neon artwork. Unfortunately after a few days some of the individual lights acted up. At first they were a different color than the rest, then they stopped lighting up. It’s quite evident when I switch it on. If anyone has any idea how to fix the problem I would surely appreciate your input
