Review: The most versatile edc keychain light ever! - I got introduced to this brand with the Aurora A3 keychain light that I was gifted by a friend. It was so useful in handy. I ended up buying them as gifts for friends and family. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t loved those. So when I came across this light, I knew I had to have it. Same size package as the Aurora A3 but with many additional features. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another light at this size that functions this well with so many features. USB-C rechargeable with a great battery life for its size. It’s so lightweight you won’t even know you’re carrying it. But it’s always there right when you need it. The magnetic clip and are very useful for holding the light in place during different tasks. It has multiple flashlight modes. As well as a UV light, a red light, a flashing red light and a strolling red light. And as if that’s not enough already it also has two side light modes. That I find really handy when I need both hands. I can clip it to a shirt pocket or something that I have found helpful when walking around in the dark, but still needing both hands. It’s very well designed and thoroughly thought out. I can’t think of a better EDC Carrie flashlight. Absolutely love this thing it’s worth the money. I would highly recommend it!

**Q: How is battery capacity...????**
A: It depends how you use it. This is from the website: This means that you can get up to 72 hours of runtime on the lowest setting, or up to 1.5 hours of runtime on the highest setting.  Remember, that it's smaller than a stick of chap stick so it's not really a primary flashlight. It's a keychain flashlight with incredible performance. If using it at full power I believe it will automatically switch down to 80 lumens after a minute or a minute and a half. I think that's a heat thing. It's so small that there's not really a way for it to dissipate heat so if it's on high for a minute don't touch the front because it can get extremely hot.

**Q: Does this get hot while in use?**
A: Doesn’t get hot. The brightest mode is only intended for a minute. All the other settings might get slightly warm.

**Q: Why does the model number say G3?**
A: Thanks for your question, the model number is A8U.

**Q: Can it still be programmed to come on at lowest brightness like the A7x? Does it have a lockout mode?**
A: It has a lockout mode. It still be programmed to come on at lowest brightness. And it also has a memory mode. When it is working on a certain mode for over 3mins, then turn it off. Next time, it will be the mode when you turn it on. So you can turn it off when it is working on the lowest brightness for over 3 mins, then next time it will start at this brightness.

Perfect for daily use. I mostly use it on my evening walks so that I can see to clean up after my dog, but it's very handy to have for odd tasks where I need a bit of extra light. The moonlight mode is great for early morning when I'm getting ready for work and don't want to disturb my wife. It's compact and durable (I accidentally put it through the wash with my pants with no ill effects).
