Unusable as wireless or Bluetooth device. Works well via USB
I selected this printer as it had wireless and Bluetooth connectivity and it also allows you to use labels from other manufactures so you're not tied into using Zebra's own labels.I'm a reasonably tech savvy home user and able to manage devices and home networks ok.This printer beat me straight away.I was so lost during the wireless and Bluetooth set up I opted to take it to my local PC store and ask for assistance.I have a fairly long standing relationships with them so knew they would try their best for me.I did contact the seller and Zebra for support but got the usual run around and knew I was going to waste too much time trying to get assistance from either.I run a small business from home and could not justify the lost hours. The guys at the local PC store worked on it for a while and found it VERY difficult to work with. Like me they found USB set up easy, any other type of connection virtually impossible. One of the team there used to work in the IT team at a large local hospital so is very familiar with setting this sort of thing up.The printer works very well and is easy to set up via the USB connection (hence 2 stars) but I REALLY wanted to use it wirelessly or as a poor second via a Bluetooth connection so only buy this printer if you are happy to have it connected via a USB cable. This printer has cost me a large amount of problems, lost time and money.
