Timeless Beauty: The Art of Louis Comfort Tiffany

Very nice to read and pictures to see.

The quality of the photos is disappointing, especially photos of large windows. Some areas show no detail or nuance at all. The photos of smaller objects are clear enough but a photo cannot convey the shimmer and luminescence of glass. Although the book does accurately convey the museum’s collection, it shows very little of the Laurelton Hall recreation and only one hard to see photo of the mosaics in the Tiffany chapel.

This book has awful photos. It doesn't do the actual pieces of art any justice. You need to see this museum in person to truly get the experience the pieces. What a shame and waste of money.

I visited the musuem last November and this contains most of the stunning exhibits. I would recommend a visit to the Charles Hosmer.
