DeVault Enterprises DEV2400B 24 inch Plant Dolly Black

It was hard to find a planter caddy big enough for my 8.5' dracena marginata plant. This is the one! Larger in diameter than anything else on the market. It is sturdy and comes in an unobtrusive color. Perfect.

I grow almost all of our veggies, and all of our fresh herbs in my basement under lights. My problem was that some of the grew too large for for 15 gallon plastic pots, and I needed to pot them up. After checking prices on the 25 gallon plastic pots, I decided to buy 25 gallon fabric pots which are 22" at the base. The next challenge was to find saucers to put under them that were large enough to fit the pots and still have room for drainage. Next, I had to find a plant caddy large enough to hold the saucers. This caddy fit my saucers perfectly.When ordering pot saucers and caddies, you need to consider interior dimensions of each. This caddy is advertised as 24", but the interior dimension is slightly over 22" which fits my saucers perfectly. Although one reviewer mentioned there isn't a center wheel for support, you can see in my pictures there is. Other complaints have been that they do not hold drainage water, but this is not the purpose of a caddy. You need to put the pots into saucers that contain the drainage water.In my opinion, considering the huge pots this caddy will accommodate, it rolls extremely well. The wheels on this caddy do not have locks on them, but for me this is a plus. I don't use the locks, and some get caught on rugs when moving them.In conclusion, I am happy with this plant caddy and would recommend it for large plants. This plant dolly is heavy duty! It's made really well. I used it to place my Christmas tree on along with using a Xmas tree bag. I can now wheel my Christmas tree to and from my storage closet without disassembling my tree. No more bending over to drag my tree in and out of storage. I spimply grab a handle on the bag's side and guide the tree to its destination. The dolly glides over my slate tile with no effort!!! This is cheaper than buying a tree bag with attached wheels.

It fits the round ring on my chair perfectly. Saw some people ask about using on a chair and there was concern it would tip over, but I’ve leaned every which way and the chair doesn’t tip. My chair stays centered when I recline. The wheels do not lock, but that is fine. I could hardly get up out of my chair because it was too low, but the additional 3” is perfect.

Good roller base. Very big. Roller under the center tends to catch in paver seams. Most of the pot weight is on the center roller.

This thing is HUGE!! I should have measured ahead of time as it will not go through the door onto my screened porch! However, it rolls so easily that I took it out the dining room door and around the deck to the screen room with no problem. It comes in smaller sizes that would have worked for me but I really like this 24 inch as I can place smaller pots like orchids around the big pot that holds my 40 year old Pony Tail Palm. Because there are 6 wheels on the bottom, it can be rolled over the thresholds without tipping over (needs a little help but soooo much better than the dolly I have used before).Several reviewers have commented that the dolly does not have drainage holes but I don't understand why you would want those anyway. My pot saucer catches the drainage and if it fills up, I have watered too much! I don't want water running out in the floor when the plant is in the house in the Winter.This dolly makes it possible for us old folks to keep the plant we bought on our very first married vacation. It is too big to lug around but we should be able to move it around as long as we can walk. I am sure that it will hold this pot longer than I live!

Box arrived a little damaged but the product was in perfect condition. Fits my hydroponic reservoir perfectly. Definitely recommend.

Needed sturdy movable base for wishing well on deck. This plant caddy is exactly the right size, quality is very good, moves the item with little effort. Very satisfied.
