[UL Listed] BlueStars 70+10 uF 70/10 MFD 370V/440VAC Dual Run Capacitor

Failed after 41/2 months when the outside temperature was 110 degrees . The capacitor almost exploded. The top expanded about 1/2 inch and it was leaking oil. It measured 11uf/1uf compared to its 70uf/10uf rating. The fan would not run and the compressor was humming due to an overload. I will never buy another product from this company and recommend others to do the same. I wonder if Amazon knows anything about the companies that are selling products on their site. I had to pick one star to submit this review.

Definitely not good odds, ordered two because one went bad in my air conditioner and I wanted not only a replacement but also a backup so I wouldn't be stranded if one ever failed again in the future. Of the two only one worked.. Needing to return at least one of them now, and contemplating returning both so I don't end up without AC in the middle of night or something.

DOA and held it for 6 weeks as a backup item. Now missed the return window.

Received on time. Installed on heat pump. Worked great, system returned to service and working fine. Good product, good price. Thanks,

Worked great in my Lennox system. Very easy to replace and good idea to replace periodically to prevent a failure.

Just so you know. This is a narrow cap. Will need a plate to fit in normal size ring

Box came beat up and so was the capacitor. Desperately need it so hope it works. Super disappointed

Don’t know the longevity of this because I just hooked it up, but it worked great as soon as i plugged it in. Delivered fast and as described. Bought another just to have on hand as a backup. Seemed better quality than the one that was in my HVAC unit. Hard to find these size ones in local stores

Does not work I spent hours trying to install it and it did not work
