I bought this document bag based on the dimensions (for legal size paper) and because of the limits for temperature and water. Upon receiving I could tell it was a much heavier duty make than the previous document bag I had. I haven’t found one that has a higher test rating than this one as well, so that was the deciding factor for me. I also have it stored in a fire resistant safe.The shipping on this item was terribly slow, even for basic Amazon shipping. Almost two weeks to arrive and it took a week just to ship. Opt for faster shipping if possible, if a prime customer.

Make sure you take measurements of what you plan to put in one of these. They do not expand much.

I originally saw this fireproof bag in a home improvement catalog sent to my home. I was interested but the price seemed high. So I checked Amazon and they had what I’m pretty sure is the exact same bag for considerably less money and no shipping cost.The bag is made of very sturdy material with two large roomy pockets for documents, money or whatever you need to protect. The only reason I gave it a four and not a five was I wish it had a smaller outside zip pocket for perhaps keys or other small items.It does have heavy duty Velcro closures and a reflective strip that would make it easy to find in the dark.I can’t attest to whether or not it is truly fireproof and I hope I never have to find out but it does seem like it would do the trick.

This is perfect to secure those important papers and documents in case of fire. Very sturdy and seems like it will be durable! Holds a lot!! I think anyway!! Would purchase again!

Haven’t done all of the fancy tests to make sure it’s almost everything resistant but it seems durable and is good quality. Perfect for what I needed it for.

I have always been afraid of losing documents and other important papers to a fire, which is why I always keep my papers in fireproof safes, but some things are far more convenient to keep in a desk drawer where they can be more readily accessed. This is the beauty of this fireproof pouch. It can hold a copy of your Will and other documents while lying in the bottom of a drawer at your work desk. I cannot believe it took them this long to actually make one, as this product literally screams: "common sense". I just hope it works, and I have no intention of holding it under water to test that part of it, so I cannot say if it is waterproof. I live on a hill, so....

I haven’t set it on fire or submerged it in water to really put it to the test , but it’s well made does the trick . Gives piece of mind as far as protection to valuable documents or cash. Worth the buy!

It looks like real tough material. and high heat rating.needed it for important papers.
