Very perfectly laid out
This is a great book for any structural engineer interested in learning about steel design. I write a blog “Structural madness “ and have an experience of around 6 years and sometimes even today I will refer this book to brush up any of my rusted knowledge. I like this book a lot, and will recommend everyone who is interested in steel design.

Wonderful !
I can't buy this book in my country. I am very impressed that the book has no flaws at all. even though it has been transported for a long distance

Good reference for design fundamentals
I picked this book up to brush up on my steel structural design fundamentals. This book was a good choice - it is squarely focused on practical design guidance for common steel elements and connections. It is light on theory and there is very little discussion of steel as a material, but it is a no nonsense guide to designing with the AISC Manual. There are good, illustrative examples provided for various aspects of design as well. If you want to size a typical beam, column, bolt, weld, plate, etc and know the associated design aids in the Manual, this book will work well for you. For a practicing engineer, you may want to pick up Ductile Design by Bruneau and Stability Design by Ziemian to supplement this book for more advanced topics. Other general steel structures may have a more holistic approach.
