Newness Kitchen Shears

Just received these new scissors today. I thought they looked pretty good on the product listing, but upon actually holding them in my hand I was surprised to find myself even more impressed. They were solid and heavy like a freaking hammer (not in such a way that they would be difficult to use, but I mean they felt sturdy, purposeful, and the weight felt almost like it made it more natural to hold). I bought them for the kitchen to put with the knives and use exclusively for cutting meats and vegetables, but after holding them and seeing how strong and sharp they were, I feel like I should get another pair for my fiance to keep with his hardware and tools. I made him stop what he was doing to hold them so he could gawk with me at how robust they were. Note to the seller: You may want to improve the packaging in order to ship these more safely, because they are so sharp that the tip had sliced through the cardboard box. Since Amazon had placed them inside of another box, they had not pierced through the second box to injure some poor unsuspecting parcel carrier, and luckily they did not damage any of the other items in my shipment. Maybe I should have subtracted a star for the risky packaging, but I'm too impressed that these closed, unmanned scissors were able to slice through the thick cardboard by their sheer weight and sharpness. Well done.

These are like pro scissors heavy weight I use in the kitchen but will cut wrap paper to a chicken bone, love it. it's very sharp and needs to be used with care these are not you common house shears. Wash and clean at sink no dishwasher put up dry. Should last for years for $15.00 a great deal very pleased, 5 stars product.

I bought this 3 years ago, as a busy mom, I use it daily to cut up food for my kids, it sits in my sink, and still works great and no rust at all. Great kitchen scissors, nice and still very sharp. I'm here to buy another one, this time for my camping kit. Highly Highly recommend, one of the BEST purchases I've ever made!!

These are the best kitchen shears/scissors I have ever owned. The size is perfect. They are all stainless steel with just right weight/heft. They feel like quality! Fit my hand/fingers perfect. Very Sharp. I use them daily. I believe they have the potential to possibly last a lifetime. Seriously these are GREAT! Highly recommended! 06/17/18 Update: I have been using daily now for almost 6 months. Good quality stainless steel. No rust and are as sharp as the day I got them. And, still look brand new. I am confident these shears will last a very long time....probably a lifetime. I don’t know where they are made, but I don’t care. Their is nothing stamped or printed on the shears that indicates where they are made. They are the best shears I have ever owned. They feel good in your hand, and have a heft to them that feels like quality. Non slip handles. I wouldn’t advise use by children. They have a very sharp point! I am considering buying another pair for back up just in case they should quit being made. Awesome looking too!

Seriously sharp right out of the box. They were packaged securely with a plastic tip to keep them from opening and a well fitted card board box. The handles are polished stainless steel finish and grips are wide and comfortable. The pivot pin is brass which is a nice quality addition. The blades will stick to a magnet so I'm not sure about the grade of stainless or even whether or not they are stainless steel. Time will tell if the blades will rust. I bought them for cutting monofiliment fishing line. My only experience so far is with 400 pound test which they make an effortless and clean cut. And paper. They cut paper as clean as any sewing or craft scissors that I have owned.

What an amazing pair of scissors for such a great price!! I worked in a hobby store for 5 years and handled my fair share of scissors in craft and sewing projects. I can confidently say these are comparable to 40 dollar scissors! I’ve been using them for two months in my kitchen, and I haven’t needed to sharpen them yet. The weight feels nice in my hands, they look great with my silver knife set, and they are very durable. Fantastic buy!! Update: I purchased these in 2018 and it’s now 2024 and I still use these scissors. I’ve cleaned them multiple times, sharpened them, cut myself with them, and I still love these scissors! They have no rust, no issues with the screw, and they work well in my new knife block.

They are very sturdy and quality. Everyone who handles them comments on how quality these scissors are and how sharp they remain. Heavy duty, I own 6 and bought some for family who uses them and comments on how much they liked them. I own more scissor shears than I’d like to admit. These are my final ones. Perfect for kitchen, paper, fabric... seriously. If you want it cut, this pair will do it. I haven’t tried but these are not designed for bones, so I would t do that.
