GYORGKSHI 52" Extra Long Snake Tongs Reptile Grabber Catcher, Stainless Steel & Wide Jaw Pick-up Handling Tool

I purchased this extra long snake stick because we get some large Diamondback Rattlesnakes here in West Texas. I wanted an additional safety edge provided by the longer length of this unit. I had two Rattlers in my back yard just before purchasing this unit but I have not had any since obtaining these tongs, yet. I have practiced using it on rubber snakes and I am convinced that it will work very well on an actual rattlesnake. The jaws on the stick work very smoothly and are also easy to operate. The stainless steel main cylindrical staff is very rigid and durable with extra thickness walls. I am most confident that it will work well on the larger snakes and keep me a safer distance from their heads. As a fringe benefit it came with an extra cable and spring.

We just caught a copper head with this & it could not wiggle out. Makes dealing with snakes less dangerous & a lot less scary.

My daughter lives in the woods & occasionally finds snakes in her yard. This will safely help her relocate them.

They seem sturdy and I’m sure they would do the job but before you use this grabber crimp the cable connectors with channel locks.The first time I used this grabber the cable pulled through the connector. I was able to get the cable back through and crimped all four connections.I also had to tighten the nut, see picture. Other than these problems I am happy with this product and would buy again.

Had a few snakes causing a ruckus in my attic. The stuff of nightmares! Turns out there were three rat snakes! I ordered these snake tongs and my darling brother saved the day. He usually catches them with his hands or a stick, but these guys did not like being cornered in the attic so they were very aggressive. It made the whole ordeal go off without a bite. Don't worry, we released them near a local lake.
