This cape is perfect!! Effortlessly mysterious and cool. I got it just for cosplay, but now I'm planning to wear it out in some more formal/holiday outfits once the weather cools down. It's decently thick and has a good quality feeling. I love it so much and have gotten many compliments on it.For reference I'm about 115lbs at 5'4" and the size small fits great. It reaches down to around mid thigh, and the hood is quite roomy. :)

So I bought this for my Golden guard cosplay in 2021(or 2022?? Not sure tbh), which I wore to the Scarborough ren fest. I have no regrets choosing this cloak. I really wanted to pick a nice looking one since hunters clothes are likely expensive, being that he’s in the emperors coven, “nephew” of the emperor and all, but all the other ones I could find looked fairly thin or cheap. So I decided to buy this one even though it didn’t come in white, and just use fabric paint on it. It got stuff from the paint, naturally, but it still looks great and is perfect for the what I needed it for. It’s also very comfy which is always nice haha. I do wish it came in more colors, especially white. I also think in might be short for a taller person. I’m 5”1 so this worked fine for me, but it might be too short for someone 5”5 or taller depending on what your using it for. Overall, awesome cloak, super comfy and high quality, well made etc. I will definitely buy more in the future for more ren fairs and cosplays

It's a nice cloak, I abousetly adore it, works perfectly for what I wanted it for as a cute light coat for fall and spring. I have this in two colors 😍 might get more lol

My rating would have been even less than 3 stars if it had not been for the reviewer who sent the pic of herself in her "archery" cape and her height measurement. At least I knew to expect that the length would be nowhere near as long as in the manufacturer's picture. I am 5'1" and usually wear a size 8 (sometimes 6, sometimes 10 depending on cut) or Medium in tops/coats. I ordered a Large and that came just above the top of my knee. I was hoping for a longer look since I'm short. If you are taller, this "cape" is going to look more like a little kid's super hero cape(let) on you. I did not take off stars for the length thanks to the archer's review.I did take off stars for the material, cut and fit, but especially the fit. Even though I ordered a large, the cape does not fully close in the front even when I stand with my arms at my side. I expect a large to fit like a large, so I took off a star. The material is by no means plush or hefty; more like a medium-to thin felt (the way cheap wool feels)--I took off a star for that. As other reviewers noted, some of the colors/styles come with armholes. Some liked the cut, others didn't. I'm in the "didn't" camp. On my style the holes were barely 2 (nicely finished) slits through which I could barely squeeze my wrists, and were so tight that if I wanted the holes to slide up to my elbows, I had to push the material up with my other hand. Quite uncomfortable. I took off a star for that.All these issues are quite unfortunate, because the look of the version of the cape that I ordered was unlike anything else that I could find, was stylish and was exactly what I wanted as an over-cape for my Halloween witch costume (because it's supposed to be cold in the NE this year).3 stars and back it went in the returns.

I got this for a cosplay and truly wasn't really expecting such a high quality product for the price. This cloak is thick, warm, and well made. It looks amazing as part of my cosplay. I plan to use mine more than just cosplay after actually seeing it. It's heavy, but comfortable. The arm holes are a little awkward, but not a big deal for me.

Forgot to account for my arms being INSIDE the cape when puzzling over the width measurement, especially as someone who hasn't worn anything "small" in decades. So it's probably meant to be a bit more roomy than I actually have, but thanks to the style of wear it works out. 😅The hem along the center edge is oddly wide and not secured, but it does leave open the possibility of adding embellishments like embroidery or sewn on decorative cording and then interfusing it down to protect any added stitching. I also expect I'll remove the buttons and connecting fabric closure, which seem larger than the photo, in favor of something more decorative.That having been said, the material is light, moves easily, and the backing feels more like a lining so it's nice and smooth. It'll be a decent break from any wind and add some warmth on chilly (though probably not cold) evenings. And the color is absolutely gorgeous!

A little thinner than expected however very comfortable and fun

I found this to be a very good quality product, it was heavy and had a nice long length (but not too long), the material was thick and heavy so I imagine it being very warm and cosy in winter. It wasnt quite right for me as it didn’t have arm holes hence 4 stars.

Loved it. It was just what I was looking for after recovering from surgery. Once the weather got colder I had to leave her a few other things underneath, but I could get it on with one arm which was a big plus for me!

Absolutely love this cloak. I feel like I'm walking out of a book. Wore this during the very cold snap where it snowed and froze and I can easily say I was very warm as soon as I put it on. Loads of compliments from wearing so far, will be buying in black as well. Let's bring back cloaks!
