Light and comfortable , hardly any break in time , had a pair of these many years ago they're reliable in all weather conditions . Plenty of room for tootsies , the extra padding round the ankle takes bit of breaking but you can soften it by gentle bashing .

The shoe fits me true to size and seems solid and likely to wear well. Be warned the uppers need some wearing in. I found that wearing thick socks avoided any rubbing on my feet. Am hopeful these will last better than my last purchase which only made 5 months af daily use.

Good shoes for work. They need wearing to soften them up like most shoes but are quite comfy.

It took very long time to break into this shoes.. They're very well made but they're too heavy and very stiff.

I've worn the steel for cap version of these shoes in an engineering work shop for years and would say they are as good if not better than most top brands which you pay more than 3 times the price these none steel for cap feel every bit of the same quality I wear them round the house to break them in otherwise they are bit rough on the old tootsies but once broken in top quality shoes to wear not sure about the ankle padding tho I prefer it without like the steel for cap ones that is just my opinion tho would definitely recommend and would buy again

Not good quality.

I have very wide feet and noted that others have said that these are wider than usual - across the ball of the foot they're fine, but it felt like the toe box was a little snug, although after a day of wearing them they seemed to break in fairly easily.They are lightweight in the sameway as the Doc Martens of old with the leather feeling the same (the new Docs are uncomfortably narrow so I've given up with them).There's a nice layer of padding at the heel, go I haven't put gel pads in (yet) just to see how they go.Overall I'm very happy with them as work shoes and the only reason they lost a star is that I'd like the toebox a little wider - if possible I'd give them a 4.5 out of five
