The SLIM fit is PERFECT for my skinny 6 year old
My 6 year old is tall and skinny and would probably fit in a 4T waist if they were long enough. I searched everywhere to find jeans I didnt have to pull the elastic sides in ALL THE WAY, and forget about elastic waist, those were all too big too (I tried Levis, Gap, Target brands) These are the ONLY jeans that fit perfectly and they are so cheap! Lightweight denim but they seem durable enough to get through a season. The only other Slim fit pants I have found are Lands End but these are less$$ so I HIGHLY recommend the slim fit if you have a skinny kiddo like mine!

Eh 😟
I've purchased plenty of these pants so I'm not sure what went wrong with my last order but the pants were skinny jeans on my son (which no I personally do not like nor want my son to wear skinny jeans) they weren't anything close to boot cut or straight or regular they looked tight and skinny..... they also got very wrinkled right out of the dryer which surprises me because the reason I buy the children's place pants is because they don't get wrinkles in the dryer and they come out looking great (not a fan of ironing) but the last pair I ordered felt like a completely different material than the others and apparently its quality was not as great.

Fit great, and look good.
When my son was younger we preferred Carters brand clothing, but now that he's older, I haven't really been a fan of the big boys (beyond toddler size) clothing that they make. The Children's Place clothing are similar to Carters brand in that they run bigger than other brands, and I love that pretty much all of their clothes come with an adjustable waist band and snap closure up through size 7.Despite the fact that the dye is a dark one on these jeans, they did not run as much as I thought they would. I DID use color catchers for the first wash btw, but they didn't catch much dye, so that was a relief. These fit well and my very thin son can easily wear these jeans with the adjustable waistband. These look great and fit well.

Pour quality, ripped out within 3 months
We have had these jeans for about 3 months along with several other pairs of jeans/pants that I bought while school shopping for my son. Yesterday, these jeans ripped out while he was in school. How embarrassing. These are poor quality and I wouldn’t recommend buying them.

These pants are very nice and fit my son very well. He looks excellent in them. I thought going back to school shopping or any kind of shopping with a boy who grows out of his clothes faster than I can buy them would be an end of the world kind of thing. But the Children's Place makes it really easy to buy affordable jeans at any size. So clothing my son properly and in a way that he can walk into school confident has been a lot easier with them because they have children in mind.

Slim fit
Well made but a bit on the small side. We also got the same size in Levis and Lees. They're all labeled as straight leg, regular fit. The CP barely fit, the Levis are perfect and the Lees have a bit of growing room. If we size up in the CP brand, they will be way too long. If you have a tall, thin frame, these we'll be a great fit. If you're avg, maybe size up unless you're petite. These do have the inside adjustable belt.

Pretty slim for straight leg
They are nice Jean's but seem more slim than straight leg. My almost 6 yo. Wearing size 6 snug though the legs he had a hard time pulling them off. Waist has a little room too but can be tightened. Worth $9.

No "stretch" or give in the fabric - not great for young kids
The jeans are advertised as "straight leg" jeans - not skinny jeans. But on my 11 year old - they fit like skinny jeans. He kept complaining that it was hard to walk in them because they didn't "give." He is always active and jumping on the trampoline and wore these twice before he said he just couldn't stand it anymore.

Mezclilla resistente
