This Deserves 5 Star! ๐
I did something terrible to my middle finger. I was using a Mandolin Slicer for potatoes and ended up in the ER instead. A potato got stuck and trying to dislodge it I accidentally sliced part of the side of my finger off. Itโs Day 8 and itโs healing, but since I sliced it so deep it still hasnโt closed yet, so I still need to bandage and protect it. I saw these finger splints when I was looking for stretch gauze, but I took a chance on this being a better option, and Iโm so happy I did. I can use only a thin non stick gauze over the wound, and instead of winding several layers of stretch gauze over it to protect it as it heals, I am using the brace to do basically the same thing. Using the thinner gauze materials with the brace allows my finger to get better air flow since itโs summer and itโs like a hot box for my finger when itโs wrapped in layers of gauze. Using this brace is so much more comfortable and the brace is very light in weight, but still solid protection. I bought Finger Bandages to pull over my finger to keep the gauze over my wound in place and itโs thin enough that I donโt feel any extra pressure inside the splint. The finger bandage keeps me from coming in direct contact with the foam inside the brace. I donโt have an aversion to the foam, its super soft, I just want to keep it clean so I can continue to use it longer. So far I have not experienced the splint slipping off my finger, I did cover the Velcro with paper tape since I found it more comfortable this way. Iโll keep you updated if it doesnโt work out, but something tells me this is going to work perfectly for me.

FIXED MY RA/OA NIGHT PAIN IN MY PINKY. LOVE THIS!
BOUGHT THIS FOR MY PINKY THAT CURLS DUE TO RA IN THE MIDDLE JOINT EVERY NIGHT AROUND 2AM WAKING ME UP. HURTS TO STRAIGHTEN IT THEN HURTS THE REST OF THE NIGHT. THIS IS A MIRACLE WORKER! I PUT IT ON AT NIGHT AND WAKE UP WITH A STRAIGHT FINGER AND MUCH LESS PAIN. MAYBE A 2/10 VS A 7/10. THE FOAM IS SUPER SOFT AND CRADLING. I ALSO BOUGHT THE ONE WITH SOFTER SPLINTS AND 3 VELCRO WITHOUT FOAM AND IT IS SUPER ITCHY. GO WITH THIS ONE. FOR $10, YOU CAN'T BEAT IT! ALSO EASY ON/OFF ONCE YOU PUT THE VELCRO WHERE YOU WANT IT SO I CAN EASILY PULL IT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN I USE THE BATHROOM. CANT REC HIGHLY ENOUGH

Decent product for the price.
I work hard making handmade wooden bowls with hand tools. Its demanding work and I have broken or badly damaged my fingers numerous times while either in the shop making a bowl, or at the sawmill, handling the heavy blocks that will become a bowl. These finger splints have saved me a couple of hospital visits as I'm not above trying to fix whatever it is that I screw up. My only negative comment on these is the velcro attachment is not very well thought out. They can sometimes come loose or just be hard to attach comfortably. Also the shape is not correct for some finger shapes.

Very Comfortable & Effective For Immobilizing a Dislocated Finger
Upgrading from 3 stars to 5 stars. I had jammed two fingers upon falling to the floor, causing one of the fingers to be left (literally) bent at a 90 degree angle to the neighboring fingers! I pulled on the bent (dislocated) finger to straighten it, and managed to splint both fingers temporarily with a couple of 5-inch disposable wooden spoon and tape, took some homeopathic Arnica 30C followed by a dose of homeopathic Ruta Grav 6x...and then got online to order these Sopito Finger Splints. They arrived about 48 hours later. They were a HUGE improvement over those wooden spoons; extremely comfortable (with that foam liner) and do a great job immobilizing injured fingers. Initially, I had given these splints 3 stars because of a tendency for one to rotate slightly on one of the fingers. But this is probably due to the fact that I have TWO splinted fingers, side by side. And the fact is, the very SLIGHT rotation of one splint does not interfere with the function of either splint. I've slept comfortably through the night wearing them and, in fact, was a little surprised to find them on my fingers when my alarm went off and I got out of bed. That's how comfortable they are. Worth every penny!

Velcro wears out fast. Keep away from nano textured glass!
I bought these and was mainly only using the middle size to splint my middle finger at night while I was sleeping. I bought a bunch of different ones and this one was my favorite because it kept my finger the straightest. One major downside is the Velcro wears out really fast and then will not stick properly. I ended up replacing the Velcro with the silicone cord organizers that just happened to fit perfectly. The other major downside compared to the other splint I bought is this was the only one that had exposed metal (the aluminum frame). I did didnโt realize this would lead to a nightmare scenario for me. I ended up falling asleep while watching my iPad, which has nano textured glass. I guess I must have scratched the screen with the splint when I went to put my iPad away. Itโs probably isnโt something most people need to worry about, but I figured I would mention it because it was devastating. You canโt polish or buff a scratch out of the nano textured glass the only way to fix it would be to replace the entire screen! If I wouldโve thought of this or had any idea, I never wouldโve wore that splint anywhere near my iPad. Hopefully this may help someone out there for a similar catastrophe.

Durable and not too small.
Sizing: Might run a little bit big if you have small handsโฆ Iโve only used the โpinkyโ splint because itโs the one that best fit my ring finger. My hands are not very small (for being a female) so I would say that these are probably a good fit for almost any ADULT (male or female) with medium build and up. Aside from that these splints are pretty durable and stay in place really well. I did hand wash mine at one point and it held up pretty well.

Really helped with my 'trigger finger' issue and enabled the body to self heal
Suffering a trigger finger on my pinky. Easy to find one that fits the affected finger, easy to custom fit and remove when needed, ie when washing hands etc. It stopped my finger from curling wheel still using my hand and allowed the sleeve over the ligament to fully recover. It will get grubby and is easy to clean. Putting this one stopped the painful times I accidentally gripped something and my little finger got stuck on the ligament sleeve. Downside is it can dig into the base of the finger if you don't pick the right size. Easily avoided.
