If you have a great display and audio system, you want this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A visually improved version of the Director's Cut. *by T***D on March 25, 2026* Being a longtime fan of Blade Runner, there was one thing that I hoped for in this "final cut" of the film: that it would simply be a remastered version of the "director's cut," which it is. I loved the original film despite Deckard's unnecessary narrative (which I felt both detracted from the mood of the film and insulted my intelligence), but I very much prefer the Director's Cut. This thankfully unnarrated Final Cut adds some length to a few scenes, shortens a couple of others, all of which are improvements, but the digital remastering is what really makes it worth adding one more Blade Runner version to your collection. The colors are more vibrant and realistic, and visual quality is crystal clear. I did find it necessary to turn out the lights while watching it: the remastering has made every scene even more dimly lit than they appear in the prior versions (at least on my TV). I haven't yet watched the extra features included on the other disks in this four-disk set. My primary purpose in buying this was to get the remastered version with improved visual effects, and everything else is just a bonus. I decided to write this review to correct some confusing discrepancies in a couple of other reviews posted here, especially regarding the voice-over narrative, which some people claim was restored in this final cut.
