Powerful little device!
Often I avoid writing reviews but with this one I couldn't help but doing so:• Panel was easy to set up through the app, which has plenty of features such as renaming sensors, arming/disarming remotely and notification alerts. Unfortunately mine arrived with a minor crack/damage to the front, circled in red, it's almost as if it was dropped as it has a 'chip' in it but otherwise it functions well, just got to tap a little harder on that area. I'm sure it would of been flawless otherwise no doubt.• SIM Card function worked out of the box with no issues, just had to top up the SIM Card and put it in, now I get text alerts and can call from the panel (though it does have a mild echo for the one receiving the call)• Instant response from motion sensors on the doors.• PID sensor is hit/miss with detection but it could be my positioning, I'll be changing the location in hopes it gets a better angle.• Keyfob is well built but the buttons are sensitive we've accidently set off the SOS twice now, so keep that in mind, the range doesn't seem to go outside of 15ft - which means outside the building we cannot press SOS anyway, we can still arm/disarm from about 2ft passed our main-door which is nice because it means we can do so on our way in/out if we don't want to use the separately purchased door keycode panel (which double as a doorbell, amazing).• Provides a great deal of security and calmness. We live in a major city which has an average 28,000 crimes a year, 40% of which are B&E (breaking and entering) even in apartment complexes, so this really does deter could-be-thieves or trouble makers from our area, the sticker they give you is vibrant and I work in Technologies & Securities myself - so having the Straniot sticker on my door as well as my own-brand really does double-down the fact we're secured.• I have the panel connected through WiFi to a 2.4Ghz broadband router on an isolated network (Guest, repurposed on a spare router) and can't see it making random 'call outs' to domains, in fact, I never notice it calling out to anything, ever. Which gives me peace of mind from a security stand point and reading through the T&C / Privacy Policy of the suggested app it seems like the standard you'd expect from Smart Home Apps but always do your own due diligence too. The only pit-fall is that to order more 'parts' you have to order through https://staniot.aliexpress.com/ and not direct through Amazon and I don't know how I feel about aliexpress as a company, only ever heard bad things but given I will be ordering two more PID sensors, we'll see.All in all, from a professional in a relative field, I'll give it a solid 4/5 - great for people wanting to DIY their own security rig and protect their office, home or spaces.

Good alarm system
So was not sure what to expect, cost wise its a pretty low cost system and having had a much more expensive one installed I was not sure what we would end up with.Well pleasantly surprised with it to be honest, couple of little niggles but I think still worth the money. All well packaged and all the bits look nice quality, the main panel is very nice and the screen is really quick and responsive.Setting up is a doddle, it prompts you and even shows you QR codes to download the software, then its just a case of adding a device, it detects the unit and connects it to your WIFI network and that's the panel done.Go in to the security menu and click add sensors, delete a sensor type, then just set the sensor off and it is added (you can rename them in the app). You can have all different types, hone and away, just home, emergency sensors and always on sensors.Change the default code and add any new ones and basically your ready to go with the initial alarm, comes with all the mountings and the mount for the main unit has an anti tamper which sets the alarm off which is good. One thing I like and hated on some other I looked at is that all the cables and switches are behind the unit firstly for security and secondly as if like us you wall mount it and have the cables in the wall, it look so much tidier.Alarm went off perfectly every time and the only issue we had was the motion sensor, it did say in the blurb it was ok for pets but its not, we have cats and they easily set off the alarm just walking around, tried putting the sensor pointing up as far as we could hoping it would help but still an issue. I have seen some other ones which claim to not be set off from anything below 15kg so I am going to try one of them, if you have dogs the sensor you get with it in an area your dog can get to will be no use.Only had it a few days but very happy with it, load of other settings you can setup and of course the 4g for texting which also has some good ideas like you can text commands to the alarm but only form the numbers that you have programmed in to it.Overall well worth the money, just need to sort out the motion sensors, would be good if they could have some proper pet immune ones as most people have pets.

Great customer service and a very good product.
I couldn't get it to work and ran out of patience. Not sure what the problem was but I returned it.The supplier asked me to try again and sent me a unit free of charge. On the second try it was up and running in 10 minutes.Very easy to install and set up. My only real gripe is that the remote has very soft keys that are too easily pressed accidentally when carried in a pocket. Disappointing that it only works on 2.4gHz WiFi.I like the ability to set up two alarm types - away and home - which means that rarely used doors and rooms can be protected even when I'm home. Also like that the status of individual sensors and alarms can be monitored even when I'm not at home.Great product!

Great little security system
Purchased this security system last month and found it very easy to set up and use. System is good value for money and looks good on the wall where i have it installed. Bought a couple of extra accessories including the external alarm as i find the alarm from the panel may not be loud enough to alert neighbours, etc in the event of a break-in. Notifys you of any alerts on your phone and can be armed and disarmed using alexa which is handy. Customer service is also very good replying to any queries and issues you may have very quickly and also followed up a few days later to check everything was okay

lasted 18 months
A reasonable 3.5 start device ruined by the fact that it stopped working after only 18 months.
