Great color options so far satisfied
Over all so far seems like it's doing its job but i will still give berkley big game the edge for the type of fishing i do but with the bigger spools they offer more color option would use again .

Good product, this was a straight re-buy on a product I purchased two years ago and have been using routinely for fishing on four trolling reels. Performs as expected. Zero breaks, relatively few tangles, stands up to abrasion.

I have a been a Berkley Big Game fan for quite some time since I got into catfishing. Last year I decided to switch it up and try this instead as Sufix has always made a great product. It was definitely a HI VIZ line without a doubt. Unfortunately I DID run into a few issues with it, I had lost a few decent cats anywhere from the 10-20# range and it just seemed like the line never broke but rather the knot just slipped or just gave out and I just couldnt understand what was going on. I decided to do a break strength test against my tried and true BBG and what I saw was slightly unsettling but awesome at the same time. clinch knotted 2 2' sections 1 BBG and 1 Sufix to a 7/0 circle hook and put a surgeons knot on the end to attach to my fish scale. The BBG 25# test broke at 22-23# while the Sufix 25# would just slip out of the knot, HMMMMMM. I tried the test again and the same results happened on the 3rd try I tied the same clinch knots, same twists again on both lines only this time I tied a regular overhand knot on the tag end of the sufix that had the clinch knot, the BBG big game still broke at 22-23# HOWEVER the Sufix slipped all the way to the overhand knot and remained locked and FINALLY broke right at 25.5-26# I dont know if Sufix uses a special lubrication on their line to keep it from dry rotting but I have not had 1 knot slip since I started using the overhand knot on the tag end. I never had to do this with my BBG but to ME the Sufix breaking at its rated strength was more important to me that the extra 10 seconds it takes to tie a quick overhand knot is well worth it. On a side note, I also tried doing a Palomar knot as well which most certainly DID slip also just not as much, so for piece of mind I also throw an overhand knot in the tag ends of my Palomar knots also. I gave this product 4 starts because I do feel that it most certainly has the potential to be 5 stars, is a great product altogether but to an unsuspecting fisherman who could be going on the fishing trip of a lifetime might have issues if they hook into a large fish and their knot just gives out and they dont know why. Add a overhand knot or 2 to your tag end and this will be some 5 star mono.
