Graftobian ProPaint Crimson Red 1 Ounce

The Graftobian Mint Green water activated ProPaint was the base of my 2nd attempt at an Orion cosplay makeup. I had tried the off-brand Chinese face paints and they did not work well at all. Graftobian never lets me down. I have middle aged skin with lines and texture, and this still applies smooth without sinking into my lines or pores.Some hints on using ProPaints, especially the darker colors:- ProPaints will stain your skin if you don't use a barrier spray like Mehron's before applying. Apply barrier evenly and allow to dry completely before applying pigment.- Unless you want sheer coverage, start with less water than you think you need to keep it more opaque.- This is layerable, but try to keep it two layers or it starts to grab at the previous layer and look patchy.- Even though this sets to a dry finish, I still use RCMA powder to set it so that I can apply cream paints over it without disturbing the base layer.- I have better luck with a flat, synthetic foundation brush than I do with sponge application.- For even more coverage, especially for a satiny, rather than matte, finish, I used Ben Nye's Lumiere Luxe Powder to add dimension.PROS:- Great buildable coverage- no fragrance- no irritation, even around my eyes.- long lasting on skin and generous size in the pot.- works with other products like Ben Nye creams without streaking.- washes out of brushes without stainingCONS:- Darker colors will definitely stain lighter skin tones so always use a barrier under it.- it can dry quickly, so for detail work, it's better to work fast.After I was finished applying the Mint Green to my face and neck, it still looked like I'd barely used any pigment from the pot. The concentration of pigment, and the amount in the pot, are both great. I wish I hadn't bothered trying other brands because this application to half the time ad it did with the off-brand makeup.

This is an excellent product. My wife and I love celebrating Halloween. We have used numerous brands of costume makeup. This make up is the best. It applies light with no greasy or cake feeling. It is a light powder base. Apply a little for a light color. Add another layer for darker shades. A little goes a long way so you can use this for a long time. We only dress up for Halloween so we can use this one container for years.Washes off with soap and water real easy. We liked the first one so much we also purchased the multi- color set. The cost is a little more. But if you consider the advantages and the long distance of use, I would say this comes in cheaper than the normal use and throw away greasy heavy makeup offered by other brands. Perfect for Halloween, clown, stage make up.

I got this paint makeup for my Mina Ashido Cosplay and At first I was skeptical about the coverage of this body paint on darker skin. It actually works really well I did have to do about 3 coats to achieve the look in the pictures but overall I am happy with how it came out.Once the paint dries it is easy to put another coat over it and darken the shade. I think in the future I will use a White under base so that I do not have to use so much paint. I recommend a primer and a setting powder. These will help the paint set faster and stay on longer. If you have darker skins I also would recommend a white paint base before using this color. The paint isn’t as oily as some other brands I have come into contact with. With that being said it is still oil based so it is important you put down a primer and a setting powder.

This paint was absolutely lovely! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it rubs onto this fairly easily and it's actually a little difficult to wash off if you've got a lot on. But that's totally made up for, because it wears like a nice foundation; no flakey weird pieces of paint, no excess drying of your skin, etc. Once it's dry it's soft and light feeling, and you can put on makeup over it! Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

I used this for a She-Hulk costume. Goes in easy, stays very well, and comes off easy but only if you want it to. I wore to my active job for 5+ hours and barely had any transfer. It washes off easily with soap but want won’t make it come off. 👍🏻👍🏻

It took me a minute to figure out how to use this but it is a beautiful olive green with a tiny bit of gold sheen. I used it with a damp wide sponge for my arms. I then sprayed with a glow (matte, would have been better for me) setting spray and it stayed for several hours with no issues. It did not flake. It washed off easily in the shower and did not irritate my very sensitive skin.My only complaint is that using it damp it was not layerable, so it was about keeping the cake equally damp and then blend while wet.

I bought thos body paint to try and compare to the mehron paint I normally use. I'm will be going back as I'm just not as satisfied with the product. The purple is more lavender than a pink purple so I had to mix this with my pink body paint to get the color I needed. When I used this brand straight it was not very smooth and seemed to streak really weird or even cake on. I would say it's wholly bad I just didn't like my experience compared to other brands I have used.

I won’t lie I was concerned about the ease of use before I bought it…but all of those worries went down the drain after my first use. What is nice is it gives you great coverage, feels like you have nothing on (important for someone like me who does not wear make on a regular basis), and you control how dark the color and sheerness by how much you use! The ease of use is crazy…I did my makeup-didn’t like how it came out so I washed it off and redid it….I was able to do this because it washes off easily and didn’t take much time to reapply! The container is pretty small and you first look at it and think “yeah-great deal-what is this one use?”….I did my entire face, neck, shoulders, arms and chest 6 times and it doesn’t even look like I put a dent into it…so don’t let the small size fool you….a little goes a long LONG way! I received so many compliments on my makeup and people asking what I used! This is really a GREAT BUY… and now I want it in every possible color!! Lol

The colour on this face-paint is very rich and full in pigment. It's also very comfortable to wear all day and doesn't crack as you go threw your day. I would definitely recommend this product!

Nice product - goes on nicely and stays on all night. Unless you get beer on it - it’s not beer proof.Way more expensive than the kiddie face paint but in my opinion totally worth it - it will last some time

This worked great for my daughter's Gamora costume. Great coverage and washed off fairly easily.

I bought these because my favourite body paint YouTuber MadeYewLook recommended them as her go to. The shipping from the website to canada was outrageous so I was glad to find them on amazon.ca. Def worth the hype
