I almost broke my tailbone trying it out...and I used to skate. So it was a bit humbling. But get some speed and carve into it and it w9rks. This is sized for a kid and it was for my son and he's already a wiz at it. Not the most efficient way to ride, but it is very fun and you can carve almost like a snowboard, so that's a good time. Just know there is a learning curve, so don't give up on hour one. Even learning to ride a bike takes some time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The size is perfect for my 13 years old son. The material is strong and durable. It is a fun board to use outside.

This was a Christmas present for my son last year. Be aware there are 2 sizes - this is the smaller one for kids (my son is 12 y/o). He rode his cousin's ripstick and enjoyed it so I decided to get one for him. It took some getting used to - much harder than a skateboard due to 1 wheel each on front and back. But after a day or two he got it and he's been tearing around ever since. I got this for him in anticipation of him going on a snowboarding trip this Christmas. We just returned from our trip and while it's different from snowboarding due to the center joint allowing the 2 feet to move in opposite directions, which is different from a snowboard, I think it helped him with balance and hip movement that is common to both. My son enthusiastically endorses this product!

We bought this for our son (8) for Christmas and he loves it! It is stiffer than I had expected which is a little difficult for him to move but the more the is using it the more it is loosening up.

We purchased this for my son for Christmas of 2017. He’s only used it since December 25,2017 and today is March 11,2018. The wheel is already broken. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see that the bolts that are applied to the wheel from the inside of the board are floating around in there. So it broke from the inside. So frustrating as he loves this board. I wish it would have lasted longer. Edited 2018. I contacted the company after this broke and they sent me a full replacement. Their customer service team was so friendly and helpful. It’s hard to find great customer service these days, so I really appreciate when a company stands behind their products. It’s been several months now since we’ve received the new and my son has had HOURS of play on it with no issues. Thank you RipStick company for fixing the issue for us. I will definitely purchase from this company again because of my experience with their customer services team.

My 9 year old and 12 year old both LOVE riding their rip stick. It's amazing how quickly they learned to balance and use it. I bought one for Christmas for my oldest and then ended up buying a second one for my youngest son, so they could each have their own. Great product.

I got this for my son's birthday and he LOVES it. He's really hard on it and it's still working great. It's not made cheap or it would have been broken by now as many times as he's slammed it into things. My son is 12 and just over 100 pounds so it's really durable.

Wicked little Wave board ! Im 6'4 and 180lbs and rip this thing in my house all over its hella short but it lowkey makes it easier to rip around inside! I suggest it ! Its fun . Best for smoothest surface possible 👌🙌
