Good but needs something to make it more comfortable
So thankfully, I had a different band that I could wear underneath this because the strap that goes around your wrist kind of cuts into the rest a little bit, especially since I need to be wearing it at night. The other rigid ones that hold your hand like this one does basically felt claustrophobic so wearing the two softer bands was actually really helpful and my hand is hurting less this morning so that’s awesome. My observation, but if you make the strap tighter and pull your wrist up, which actually will loosen the attention on those tendons, it will help give your tendinitis more relief throughout the night. I did that not super tight but enough to see if my theory was right, and it did seem to help.. course this was just me trying a couple of different things I had tried another brace that was much bigger and went halfway through my arm felt like a cast and claustrophobic could not wear it so this one was a much better fit for me. I of course did have to wear this other band to make it work, but I think it is worth it. I do have some thumb braces as well so I may try that as well, but just something even like just compression sleeve a little bit for your hand would give a cushion to the strap that is in your wrist area.

The Best Hand Contracture Device I've Tried
I've tried several hand contracture devices, and this one stands out as the most comfortable and easiest to use. As a stroke survivor managing severe spasticity, I've found it to be both effective and comfortable for extended use. I highly recommend this device to anyone dealing with similar challenges.

Great value and product!
Helpful for my Mom who has Alzheimer's and her hands are curling in. These help her move her hands and protect them more from curling in.

Perfect night splint for stroke patient
I have tried several night splits to prevent my paralyzed hand from tightening into a fist while sleeping, due to a stroke. I would wake up with my hand out of position and balled into a fist. This very comfortable hand protector keeps my fingers from getting tight and remains in place.

Simple, soft and velvety BLACK
It’s not ugly… I mean this little cushion is legit kinda ELEGANT! The perfect size with beautiful fabric, and that nifty removable wristband that keeps it from sliding off inside a coat sleeve… some days strap is unneeded and stays off.. Great convertible design. Very very nice.

Not a Good Fit For Our Needs
I got these palm protectors for my mother-in-law who has a disease that constricts the hands and creates funky smells when left too long in that position. The problem with these is that they were too big for her little hands, and it was a little complicated to wrap them around her hand and wrist. Also, if your loved one or yourself, moves around a lot they come off fairly easy and it defeats the purpose. Maybe there are sizes and I missed it when ordering, but for our needs it was not a good fit - literally and figuratively. However, if you are fully able, they are built well and durable, but I know it doesn’t work for our needs, but we still use them as best we can.

Great Design
My wife had a stroke and her left hand would clench so tightly her nails would bite into the palm of her hand. After trying several braces, we decided to try this protecter. It works great and stays in place. Will probably buy another one or two so we can change out during the week between washings.
