Bull: Season One

Great new series
My wife and I have been watching the CSI series and the Criminal Minds series, but eventually, the very graphic story lines got to us. WIth the exception of CSI:Cyber, we were generally fine with all three CSI shows. Criminal Minds was fascinating, but as we progressed further into the seasons, we finally found ourselves no longer enjoying the series. There was simply too much graphic violence (blood and gore), and so we turned it off.In searching for something new, we explored Scorpion, but that got so silly and formulaic that by the end of the fourth season, we could see why it got cancelled. IT is too bad that Bones did not stop a lot sooner, because it went down a path that just no longer worked. Some series go too long and Castle is another example where it could have stopped with Rick getting married (without all the drama that ensued). Now comes Bull. Very much along the lines of "pulling it out by the skin of our teeth" in a Perry Mason flavor (court-room drama), this has been a surprising and refreshing breath of fresh air. Not much in the violence category and no on-screen graphic violence, blood, or gore. Dr. Bull is somewhat of a arrogant personality that can easily get under people's skins, but as a psychiatrist, he knows just how far to push and when to stop.We are now well into this first season and so far, each case has been different. There have been some surprises that were unexpected and other instances where we could figure out what was going to happen. Unlike Sherlock Holmes, there are no hidden clues. We are on a search of discovery with the TAC team as they not only work with mirror juries to figure out what works and what doesn't, but also dig into the case to find out what really happened. No spoilers here, but seeing Dr.Bull's team tackle cases ranging from criminal and civil cases, to military courts martial cases, and seeing justice handed out in each case, this has turned into a wonderfully entertaining series. Not a lot of action for those who like high-speed chases and gun battles, but just good mysteries to be solved.

Love ❤️ dr. Bull
I really like the show. I purchase it on Amazon prime. After seen a few episodes on television I was hooked, but I needed to go back to the beginning of season one. I had to purchase the show. It was well worth the cost.Dr. Jason Bull is the charming and cocky founder of successful trial consulting firm Trial Analysis Corporation, where he and his team of experts employ psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to understand jurors, lawyers, witnesses and defendants, and construct effective narratives to help their clients win. Bull's team include his brother-in-law Benny, neurolinguistics expert Marissa, former detective Danny, hacker Cable, and Chunk, who helps perfect clients' appearances for trial. "Bull" is inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, who also serves as executive producer.Dr. Jason Bull is the charming and cocky founder of successful trial consulting firm Trial Analysis Corporation, where he and his team of experts employ psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to understand jurors, lawyers, witnesses and defendants, and construct effective narratives to help their clients win. plus a few more intelligent personalities trained to help their client
Bull is an exciting new show with a trial involved. This show has a twist. When selecting the jurors, one lawyer is on a team that also uses a psychologist, an ex-FBI agent, a high tech computer whiz, plus a few more intelligent personalities trained to help their client. All it will take is for you to see this show once and you will be hooked. You can find this on Amazon.

I loved watching Michael Weatherly on NCIS but I'd lost interest ...
I have not been a fan of new shows for the past few years but this year there are five that I'm willing to pay to see and Bull is one of them. I loved watching Michael Weatherly on NCIS but I'd lost interest in the show. I was so excited to hear that he had a new show and what a show!I like the pacing, the supporting characters, the story lines and I could go on... But I will not ruin it for you. If you are looking for a new drama with likable characters, laughs and with that hint that there is so much more beneth the surface, this is the show.

Most boring show in years
The show is about jury profiling - so far so good. The problem is that each episode is the same, just another group of people (jury) to profile. Could not make it past the first 8 episodes and then pulled the disc. It was as though I was watching the same episode through different color glasses. Essentially the same story line each episode.

Great new show
Great new show. with a different focus. I like TV shows that are related to the law and police (e.g., Blue Bloods) and politics and/or government (e.g., Madame Secretary, Designated Survivor, etc.). This new show is interesting, has drama, humor, and details about human behavior that are a true different "bent". I was disappointed when Michael Weatherly left NCIS. No longer. His acting ability really shows in Bull and it's great to have a TV show that is somewhat different. Always interesting and entertaining.

Fun to Watch
This is a very good show if you don't dislike attorneys and jurors. It's very well done with good acting. Bull, is a jury profiler (I guess he'd be call that). He helps his client weed out the jury members they dislike for a case. With all the technology available, they can predict how a jury member will vote so his client can win the case. There was a movie with this same theme with Gene Hackman as the profiler and John Cusack as the jury member. Good film as well. It's something new and different for a noncable show, and glad David E. Kelly has himself a hit.
