The Choice

So interesting-wonderfully relationships and almost like a coming of age novel In adulthoodMaybe a little slow in the beginning but worth getting through

I enjoyed the suspense of this book. It had me wondering what choice I would make.

The premise is interesting, but it gets repetetive quickly and the main character's passiveness and indecision is exhausting. What really ruined it for me, though was the absolutely sappy love story at the heart of it. The main character goes on and on describing her perfect husband and how much she loves absolutely everything about him, it's so over the top and unbelievable considering how he behaves in the book....if I would have known it was basically romantic chick lit disguised as a thriller, I would have passed.

This book takes you back and forth between the consequences of you decisions. What meaning your actions have and the ripple effect for your circle of family and friends. Thought-provoking.

I liked this book. You could feel the fear this woman had about the death of the man she pushed down the stairs. Each chapter is called reveal or conceal and each one deals with what she did or didn't do and how it wrecked her life. I enjoyed the book.
