Widely used by commercial growers, Aquamat has a water absorbency of 3.2 litres per square metre, and a capillary rise of up to 7cm. With even water spread and minimal dry spots, each plant will have a constant and even supply of water. HOW TO USE IT Simply place the matting at the bottom of a garden tray. Place your plant pots or seed trays on top. Water the matting until it is thoroughly soaked. The plants will take up water through the drainage holes in the bottom of the pots as they need it. Two layers separated. Wicking layer very thin. The last matting I bought lasted through 6 years of continuous use and frequent washing.
