Tricky to install because it is in very tight quarters. Some people say they can do it without removing accelerator but i had to remove accelerator bolts and move it out of the way to access the part. The white shaft also needs to line up with the mating part of the vent so make a note of the position of the shaft on the old part and i had to plug in the power cord on the new part to pwer it up and unplug it when i got it close to the same position

Just remember to position the damper to the floor before taking things apart, that is if you can.Super easy to change out on the 13 expedition. It's right there in the floorboard near the gas pedal. 3 bolts remove the gas pedal, 1 wire harness disconnect, and 2 screws.
