They all arrived before Christmas (thank you desertcart!) and after she opened them, I installed them in our approximately 160 sq foot home gym. The install was as easy as it gets as these have “teeth” that connect each of them plus a really nice border piece for straight edges like against the wall. I did notice some slight discoloration between the different boxes as I laid the tiles, however, nothing that was show stopping. A couple of the tiles looked like they had a stain of some sort from manufacturing but I just strategically placed those tiles under our 1/8” rubber mats under our treadmill and bike. These were also very easy to cut with a razor knife as I made custom cuts around the door frames in our gym. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with these. No telling if they are durable as we just installed them but if we have any issues I’ll update this review. The ones I have now are very cheap and when I push off the interlock part seperates.** A: These are good to protects floors from barbell workouts, but they slip on (my) hardwood floors and separate with cardio movements like burpees. **Q: Can somebody tell me the room diemensions that this would fit** A: Ok, this is going to involve math. :) The tiles are two feet by two feet. That's 4 square feet, so take the number of square feet in the package, and divide by 4. The 96 square feet package, for example, is 96/4=24. Thus, there are 24 tiles in the 96 square foot package. Measure the length and width of your room. If you don't want to cut a tile, round the length *down* to the nearest two feet. If your room is 13 feet 7 inches, round down to 12 feet. Then, since each tile is two feet square, divide that by two. You'll be able to fit up to six tiles along that 13 foot 7 inch wall without cutting anything. Do the same for the other wall. If you can fit six tiles along one wall, and four tiles along the other, you can fit up to 24 tiles in the room without cutting. If you instead want to cut the edges off of some tiles and go full wall-to-wall, round *up* to the nearest even number instead. So, that 13 foot 7 wall would round up to 14 instead. The rest of the procedure is identical with the dividing by two, measuring the other wall, etc. **Q: Are these textured on both sides? Or is one side smooth?** A: It seems the answer depends on the thickness you buy. This poses a problem because I cut all kinds of wood down there and the remains end up on my fiances feet when she does laundry. Keep your stereotyping thoughts to yourself kemosabe. These interlocked easily, installed in minutes and changed the entire look of the basement floor. I took the attached pictures for you. The first was as it was when I got there and the second is after a single sweep. Message being that these clean up extremely well. Dust etc brushes right off. Note, I literally only brushed once, you aren't that important to me. The matts are comfortable to work on and I frequently stand on them for hours at a time. I have had them installed for a little over three months and have beat them up pretty good.
