I like the versatility of being able to adjust the shut-down time, and with your own machine, you get to choose what coffee brand you want and how strong. Good machine!

Within the scope of operator skill, this coffee makes good coffee and keeps it warm after four hours. It will usually outlast its warranty by a bit but this is our 3rd 14-cup Cuisinart in the last 10-15 years. It is used every day when we are not on the road.

This is the second Cuisinart coffee maker we have had. We had the identical one for the last 4 or 5 years. I purchased it at a reduced price on eBay I do believe. It was a factory refurbished one. It started leaking water some time ago and we noticed water was collecting in the inside of the base also. Time to throw that one away. My husband really liked it though. It made 14 cups, kept coffee hot and was easy to use. Nice looking also. After much research we ended up buying the same one and so far so good. It was delivered last Sunday while we were out. There it was sitting in full view by our front door when we got home. It appears that somewhere a long the line someone tried to open it because the top was ripped half open and was partially removed. I'm just glad the coffee maker was still at the door when we got home and that it works!
