The NADAMOO barcode scanner is fantastic. I bought it to scan books via ScoutIQ and it works great! I’d say I made my investment back in about 10 minutes.On a side note the scanner does come with the volume up. So when you click the button to scan it makes a noise every time. To resolve that however I emailed customer support and they responded to me within the hour. There’s also a volume silencing barcode in the instruction manual.Overall this is a well made, highly functional product that is well worth your dollars!

The media could not be loaded.  Great product. Works as described! I need something like this since I’m working from home and wanted a smaller scanner than what I usually use at my desk at the library. And since I am a cataloger, I deal with a lot of different 1D barcodes including ISBN‘s, UPC‘s, and our own library barcodes. So far this has been an amazing help and I wish I’d gotten it earlier. Just note : Make sure you keep the manual and card to help you change modes and many other tricks!

I can confirm with the sellers manual (filled with barcodes that adjust many important features of the scanner) that this little gem works wondefully. While it might not be as tiny as others on the market it has worked well. I have used it for a keyboard wedge on a windows 10 pc with the USB adapter and via bluetooth on Android 8. It comes with a charging micro-usb cable along with the computer usb dongle and quick ref scan card with important barcodes on it.If you switch back and forth from PC to bluetooth connections you would want to hold down the button for 10 long seconds and it will beep and switch connections and flash from blue (bluetooth) to green (usb PC mode).

I am a computer scientist and I use this product to take attendance for my classes. Students scan the barcode on the back of their ID when they come into class. Previously, I used a rather large trigger based scanner in a stand that connected via USB to my laptop. Quite inconvenient to carry around campus. I tried a few other small pocket size scanners and they had trouble reading the id card barcode - very finicky - distance and angle all mattered. Students couldn't get the scan to work 30% of the time with the other scanners. I switched to the NADAMOO scanner, set it for continuous scanning, paired it with my laptop in seconds, laid it on the table in the classroom and students pop their id card down in front of the scanner and it reads them every time! Works beautifully and very fast. I use a Python attendance application I wrote that takes the id in a text box on the screen, welcomes the student to class and records their presence on that class date. I also tried the scanner in storage mode, so it just stores all of the ids from the scanning without the application running. After class I slip the scanner into my pocket and when back in my office, run the Python application - put the cursor in the text box and scan the upload barcode on the included card and it zips through the records and the application records the attendance. Pretty cool! I've used it in both bluetooth and 2.4 Ghz mode with the USB dongle. Both work beautifully. The Python application takes care of extra characters from the scan but I had to write it that way based on the previous scanner. With the NADAMOO, I can just eliminate them with a simple scan of a barcode from the easy to read manual. Great product. I've used it on a dozen classes and not had to recharge it yet. Very pleased with this product.

It seems to scan faster if you hold the scanner directly above or in front of the barcode, it doesnt like when you scan at too much of an angle. The vibration feedback is great. Only minor complaint is that even after you use the scan code to turn off the beep, it still beeps loudly when it auto shuts off, which startles the hell out of everyone in a quiet office setting. The only other suggestion would be to make a slot in the side to insert the USB reciever when not in use, I could see loosing that easily, however the whole box it came in was small so I will keep it there. Also slightly annoying that you have to use a scan code to switch back and forth from USB receiver to Bluetooth, or to pair it with another laptop if you are sharing with someone. Would have been great if they included a Bluetooth pairing button/ power button.

While developing an application for an Android Tablet I tried out many different types of scanners connected to the tablet using Blue tooth. This scanner worked just as good as some scanners I tried that costed 5 times as much. I am very impressed with this device and would recommend to anyone who wants an Android Blue Tooth solution!

Here’s the deal. I know there’s much nicer and expensive ones. This one works. Small in size- can definitely understand how something even smaller could be a little bit more luxurious but this only a little fatter than a fire remote. Fits nicely. Dropped a lot and still works. Durable. Read the manual it has barcodes that you will need to have for the lifetime you own the product. Only thing I’d love would be a battery indicator. There’s a barcode for battery but I’ve never figures it out. I just charge it daily like your phone.

Use this scanner for inventory counts and I lost my Bluetooth adapter. 2 years after buying it I took a shot and emailed their customer support...they answered me within a few hours verifying the model of my scanner and sent me the link to get a replacement adapter within minutes of me answering! Great customer service goes a long way and is hard to find anymore. Kudos to Nadamoo!
