Overpriced and spotty performance
For some background, I have installed LED strip lights many times and can troubleshoot most issues when needed. I was excited to get them installed to enhance the look of our remodeled kitchen. These connectors do not work well and are overpriced to begin with. Used them for an installation of under/over cabinet lighting and have yet to have the lights operate correctly whether the problems are due to the connectors or led strips. I have tested the connections at every point along with checking the copper points along the length of each strip. I have adequate power to each strip and the continuity is perfect. The concept is simple - squeeze the pins into the wire and strip to make a connection. The failure rate of a good connection is probably 50%. Replacing the connector usually results in damaging the led strip. Replacing connectors at $10 a package gets expensive very quickly. Will not recommend them to anyone and you can get more connectors at a lower price from other sellers.

I had problems
I have to say that I had a lot of problems with the connectors but not for the obvious reasons.First, always make sure to cut your strips as straight as possible, otherwise you risk not having a good electrical connection with one or more contact(s).Second, I found it easier to use a very small vice to crimp the connectors, the hard part is keeping the strip straight in the connector, this is almost a two-person job with one person holding the strip straight into the connector and the other person using the vice. Don't over-tighten or you'll crack the connectors. Guess how I know! The real problem is, however, that something happened that was not indicated anywhere and I don't understand how it can even be a problem. If I use the connector on the "left" side of the strip, that is, I can read the "+5V" on the strip the right side up, then all works fine. But if I use the connector on the "right" side of the strip, with the "+5V" upside down, then the warm white works fine but as soon as power is applied to the cold white, it looks like it's at 100% no matter what. And before you ask, I cut the strip exactly on the line as per the instructions and my +5V and ground wires were correct for both tests. At first I thought I was making bad connections, using the connector in the wrong way. So I kept cutting my COB LED strip and wasted multiple connectors as you can see in my photos. So now I don't have enough connectors and not enough length of FCOB strip.Trying to resolve the issue and asking for replacements from the seller, I will update if anything happens.update: over a month later and still no response from BTF-Lighting about the problem nor a replacement of the FCOB LED strip.

Finicky, don’t make good connection with 3 pin
They say they are compatible with 3 pin strips, but using it with a 3 pin CCT strip from the same manufacturer does not work well. They don’t make a good connection, the strips lose power if the connector is touched. I redid several connections and there’s no way to make them perfect even when both teeth bite into each pad.Loose connections is how fires start, and a reviewer on another one of these crimp style connectors from the same manufacturer posted photos of it catching fire. They work but these connectors are no good. Solder or use another connector instead.
