Nursing Informatics and the Foundation of Knowledge

Love it! It looks brand new it's a 3rd edition though. thought I was buying a 4th Edition but still content is mostly the same so I'll use it! It was cheap! Delivery service too long though.

Okay book. Kind of boring but I had to buy it for school. Keep it if you're going into this field. Otherwise just sell it back once you're done with it.

It is a great book very detailed. I had to give it four stars because the wording is too light, and small. Ali's, it looks to me as if they crowded everything together in order to have a thinner book by compromising the font. Perhaps darker fonts would help.

Did not love the class but had to have it. The class required the disk and like an idiot, I went on and purchased an additional digital license. Don't do that until you find out why. All I needed it for was to get the questions that are already outlined at the beginning of every chapter.

I bought this book to help me prepare for the nursing informatics certification exam. I loved reading it. There is so much useful information that applies to my career in NI. It has really given me a lot to think about. It's easy to read, not too overwhelming and not dry. I went on a sailing trip and read it the entire time. I never felt cheated by studying on vacation.

Required text for a RN-BSN bridge program. Easy to read, but ultra-dry. I'm glad someone out there likes this stuff!

Book used for school, FNP informatics. Book in good shape, except for the cover, which had a rip/tear in it when I received the book.

I bought this book because I wanted to get into informatics. This book is painfully boring to the extreme. Very hard to understand--it gets obsessed with a supercilious expression of sentence structure rather than trying to communicate information. It says nurses are not very well educated when it comes to computer technology and all must get advanced degrees to be worth something. It was very repetitious as well. I read paragraphs over and over again, and I had not a clue what I read. If you have problems sleeping, read this book. I guarantee you it will cure you of your insomnia so in that respect it is outstanding. The author must have bent over backward to present such a dull and uninteresting book that my original intent to get into informatics was just destroyed. I decided not to get such a certificate.
