Used with some active speakers for a turntable/Alexa/Nvidia Shield. Simple, but works perfectly and looks great next to the turntable. Volume min to max works through probably about a third of the full knob rotation only? Not important, however. Volume of unit left on highest anyway and volume of speakers controlled via remote. It's handy to have an extra volume control if needed and it does work, despite this little oddity.Recommended for the great price.

This has exceeded my expectations and I can only echo what the other positive reviews already say. OK, it's not the world's most expensive piece of equipment and this is reflected in the quality of the RCA sockets but it does the job brilliantly. Both the switch and the volume control operate smoothly and there's no noise of any kind (I was expecting some to be honest).I'm using it to drive a power amplifier from a phono pre-amp, the TV's digital output (via a DAC) and a streaming audio player. The sensitivity of the volume control is spot-on for this - the volume starts getting too loud at around 60% leaving plenty of room for control at lower volumes.Highly recommended.

It feel very solid and it's metal case gives it some weight. The switching is silent. The volume pot is a bit odd in that most of the attenuation is in the first 60 degrees of turn, but that doesn't bother me. I also like its plain and simple design.

We bought this to help with the local community radio station. We needed to locate some speakers far from the amplifier. We use them to monitor the FM broadcast and it's a pain having to walk 30m to change the volume. So with this mounted beside the speakers and the wires plugged into it, we can adjust the volume easily. It's unpowered and not an amplifier, so you need to set your sound source to the maximum you'll want and then use this to adjust it down from there.Although we're just using it with one source and one output, we did try the switching aspect and were delighted with how easily it works. You can use four different sources with one output or vice versa. There's nothing to alter when you do this - it is quite agnostic as to which way round it goes.

Arrived on time, came with some RCA cables which I was not expecting. The switch is encased in metal and feels solid, the switches themselves have a positive action. Easy to install and has a small footprint. I am using it to switch between a record deck and bluetooth receiver and is connected to a small all-in-one hifi unit which only have one analog in. The volume attenuation works but I tend to set it at a certain level and use the hifi main volume control. I recommend this product.

Needed this as my Marantz amp only has one record output and I have five different machines I need to switch to record on them and one spare..sound is perfect and not not degraded to my ears.. recommended..

I had a problem where the input presented to a M-Audio active speaker was too great causing excessive volume when switched on. I looked at other in line attenuators but this seemed to be a better cost effective solution. This has indeed solved the problem and when set, moved the M-Audio volume control into a more usable range. The unit is well built and would satisfy many needs for a reasonable cost.In my case I didn't find the sensitivity range of the Volume control to be an issue.

Volume knob is pretty much only useful for dropping the signal so you can switch input.Could be prettier.Could be heavier - my cables have to be positioned just right so they don't cause it to lift up.But, it works.

Works great just what I needed to add another peripheral to the stereo system with RCA cables. No power required just switch it over to your input and it works and it takes up very little space. Good buy.

I have a Bose Soundtouch III system in my livingroom which gives me perfect sound. However, it only has one input..... and I wanted to hook up a CD player AND a Record player.This little thing..... is the perfect solution! Five stars!
