We just moved into a new home and didnt want to damage the wall but wanted a gallery of family photos. The Stas system was easy to install and looks amazing! The high quality materials and ease of use made picture hanging of various size picture frames quick. I ended up purchasing another pack of adjustable hooks for hanging more frames.

Easy to install, looks good,

It works just like they say, and I also found it easy to install. I think some of the other reviewers had problems installing it exactly at ceiling height - actually touching the ceiling. I decided to install it approximately 1" below the ceiling to avoid those problems, and had no issues at all. I would definitely recommend using a rubber mallet to attach the rail, though. Doing it by hand didn't work for me - but one good blow with the the rubber mallet was all it took.

This worked out great for our main hallway that we made into a gallery wall. It was easy to install and I can change the items effortlessly. Pay attention to the weight limit of the vertical cords and the type of hooks you use. The system is sturdy enough to hold multiple pictures, ceramic art and antique mirrors. The included hooks are great for pictures on a wire. It was worth the extra money knowing that I won’t have to spend time filling up holes and painting my walls if I want to change anything on my gallery wall. The negative: The nylon cords tend to stay rolled up unless you place items on the very end. I ended up ordering steel cables (hangs vertical without weight) and the zipper pro hooks from Stas for bulky, heavy items like antique mirrors and my heavy ceramic art pieces.

Overall, the system works as advertised, but installation on the clips is a real pain. Having read other reviewers who mentioned installation problems, I wanted to make certain the clips were all perfectly aligned, so I placed the two end ones first, then stretched a very tight string between them to mark locations for the ones in between. Didn't matter! Trying to get all four clips on one track to engage simultaneously was nearly impossible, even with two people! Unsnapping the rail from the clips to try again is difficult, and at one point one of the clips pulled the screw completely out of the wall, so that rail only has three clips now. The picture hanging system works ok, I guess. Somewhat difficult to get both clips at the proper level when using two per picture. I have two more rooms where I may also install a rail system, but I'll try another brand to see if it installs better. So overall, 2 - 3 stars.

First, there are no written directions for hanging the rail. There are only pictures that are inadequate and it was not easy to install. Second, I thought that the cliprail would give me flexibility to change pictures and rearrange them but that is not the case. It is so frustrating to hang the pictures with the hooks and then step back to see that they are at all different angles. I wish that I could return the system.

Wife is an artist and with this system she changes out paintings with ease..really saves the walls and no more spackle. We have these installed on a couple of rooms…they are sturdy and with the knowledge of how to use a level and stud finder easy to install…..you want to drill into studs
