Love solar buddies and used them for a long time. Bought a new set as our old ones are a bit battered now. Have lasted over 8 years (bought in 2016) so they last a long time with a lot of good use.

These work amazing and even use it on myself. Only downside is it can be a bit hard when putting it on my sons head as a roll on. It often leaks when too hot too as it makes the sun cream runny, so when you take the lid off be careful.

Brought these a while ago but not used properly until a few weeks ago. They are easy to fill and use. My little girl is 1 and was able to help put her own sun cream on. My husband doesn't like suncream on his hands so this product was ideal for him too. Great value for money.

These are great, my daughter has one in her school bag so she can apply the sun cream herself when needed

I've been using these for a while now. Wouldn't use anything else. So good for disruption. My son loves it and tries to help put on his own sun cream!!

So I really liked the idea of these and when we received them the children were super excited to try them.Pros: super easy to apply, spreads in an even layer so no need to rub in, kids love them and want to use them independently.Cons: easy to apply *only* if held upright (which they won’t as you need to apply it horizontally or upside down depending on body part) as the roll-on only works when the cream is running downwards. Need to fill with a lot of sun cream at a time or super annoying to apply as it doesn’t flow so easy. Easy to get sand in the sponge if on the beach. Unless always washing sponge then not happy to use it to apply cream to the face. Not the most efficient use of sunscreen, goes much further when applied by hand. I filled the two containers with cream from a whole bottle of lotion and it ran out after 3 days. Normally a bottle lasts a week. Much was still in the container but no longer rolled on. Just a bit too faffy.So overall my feeling is that these are just not worth the hassle and are too wasteful with the sun cream (which is not cheap these days!). I did like the sponge applicator as it meant my hands stayed clean and application was smooth and even but even so, we won’t be using these again on our next trip.
