The first holster I got previously for my clippers, though sturdy, didn't allow the clippers to insert deep enough to do any good. Whenever I bent over, it'd fall out. With this holster, my clippers are easily accessible, but securely held and with a cover flap that prevents them from falling out. Makes all the difference in the world.

I got this to be able to carry a pair of Casfuy SK-5 pruning shears for trimming tree branches around the yard and trimming branches around deer stands. The fit is good and is a very convenient way to carry the shears. The case seems to be well made.

It seem to be constructed well however it is too small for any of my bypass type pruners which run about 2 5/8" at the widest point. A belt clip would have been nice as well but one gets what one pays for.

The sheath and Velcro are still great after months of use. The belt strap however is about to tear out its stitching. I may melt it back into place once it has come undone.
