Bones (The Dark Kingdom Book 5)

Got me hooked! Went trough the serie like fire!Must read! Found the books through booktok. Won’t disappoint you. 💜

This is the fifth book in this Dark Kingdom Series and is a dark romance, dark mafia read. I highly recommend that you read book 1 in This series first because even though they are standalone books you need to follow each of the guys characters and believe you don't want to miss the other guys books.Bones is a very ruthless, scary intimidating man and he wont stop until he gets what is his. Mia is a beautiful mafia princess that was never meant to be in this world but somehow she is. Bones is a protector and will do whatever is necessary to keep his friends and family safe no matter what.I have really enjoyed this book series and I have loved each of the characters in each of the books they have been awesome to read about. I love the way that this author writes her books and I love the connection between the characters and how she brings them to life beautifully. I love this series and I highly recommend that you start from book 1 first.

Another good book in this series of books by Shantel Tessier. If you have read the rest of this series then you already know how good a storyteller Shantel is.I definitely recommend this series of books & I also have read some of her other books. Enjoy though some of them are a hard read because they are dark but worth the read as the story unfold's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Okay, this book!!! From the moment I saw the cover, I just KNEW I would love it, and I was right!Bones has intrigued me right from the start when he was a part of Titan's book.... and boy did he deliver 🥵I'm so sad this series is over, I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future! 🤞

Currently battling with myself on how to write this review….I’ve had a weird fascination with Bones from the get go, his whole persona was dark and I loved it.In this story we see a different side to him (which was nice) but didn’t like how it completely changed him.Was expecting more action (?!) in this one especially how he found Mia.Mia I adored when she was first introduced in CoS, but as this story progressed *sigh* she started annoying me 🫣 I started having thoughts of “why her!?” Personally she just got in the way, and I didn’t see any progression in her character (unless she was suppose to stay as is!?) her Yin to his Yang maybe 🤔It was a good read not gonna lie, I didn’t want to put it down, but I had a dislike to Mia that I just couldn’t put away. We see the other Kings and their Queens as well, along with certain brothers 😎 (do they have books?! Will need to check that out)Really hope we get a Nite book because I’m dying here!!! 😂😂

Shantel Tessier is my go-to dark romance author. Considering some of the subject matter, I actually found this book a little lighter than her usual.Everytime we get a new Dark Kingdom book I find myself desperate for more. Fingers crossed for Nite's book in the not to distant future.Bones gives us our final king, I've always kind of viewed him as the defacto leader of the dark kings. So I knew his book would have a major impact on the Kingdom group, but I still never expected half the things that happened along the way.Mia the forgotton mafia princess and Bones the ruthless king were such an unexpected match for me but now I can't imagine them being with any one but each other.I really like that we kind of check in on previous couples and how they are doing. Jasmine is still my favourite, she is a BOSS.

Have you ever wanted a book so much, but then have been devastated that it means the series is over? Because that’s how I feel about Bones. Way back when I read Titan I decided I needed to understand this character. There was just something that had me wanting more. Each King finally has his Queen and I’ll now be going back to Code of Silence to see how The Kings and Luca started this journey. These books each have triggering subjects but when you’re diving into the Vegas mafia what do you expect.I don’t know what I expected for this Queen, but this one managed to surprise me. We got to see another side to Bones but still get a taste of the guy we’ve met before.

O my freaking god I waited so long to read bones…from the moment I saw him in carnage , I wanted to know his story so badly…his mysterious vibe the leader godddd he is in my top three men Damon Torrance Tyson Crawford and Dillan Reed! Don’t think twice just buy the book you will not regret it that’s for sure! And don’t get me started on the s* x scenes he was perfect and at the same time respectful ( the kind that dark romances girls love not the boring kind)

It was good but I definitely didn’t love it, often times it felt repetitive but it was overall an average book

Expect the unexpected when the last King finds his Queen. Bones has been allusive throughout the series with a voracious “appetite” and no favourite flavour. Ever. He watched his brothers fall in love and was always supportive but detached. He was always mysteriously sexy yet kind of cold emotionally. He was fiercely loyal, dutiful and protective of his family. Not a person to piss off.His story had me wrapped up in my feels as he fell for a girl no one knew and whose existence was ever even acknowledged. She isn’t completely unknown to readers but she does have Bones acting out of character as he keeps rescuing her. First out of obligation and then because he can’t stop himself.No spoilers because it was fun to get caught up in Shantel’s always exquisite storytelling. This is not one of her darkest or even spiciest stories but that’s why I loved it. It goes to show the range of her dark romance skills and that’s why she’s a most loved author of mine.If you love dark heroes who love to play but risk it all for the one he was obligated to protect, Bones is for you!

Loved this series and all the characters you have to read and see who you fall in love with mine i think is Titan with Bones a close second.

Holy smokes! When I started reading this book I thought for sure that this was going to be like the others in the series. But Bones was a whole other level! With all the twists and turns from the very beginning. I was sweating bullets, and anxious the either time reading this book. Mia had gone through so much at the hands of her family and it just kept getting worse and worse. She had no one who truly put her first and loved her the way that she deserved! The fact that Dillian and Mia found each other when everyone thought that Bones was incapable of loving someone else makes my heart so happy. One of my favorite reads!
