Our great grandaughter has 3 of these, different animal etc. They are her favorite toy! When 1 toy gets activated and starts music, it signals the next toy of this series to start. They are very captivating when there is more than 1.

I have boughten this product twice now and both have had the same issue. Originally, I bought it in December for Christmas. When we tried to use it for the first time, it didn’t work. So I had assumed maybe it didn’t come with batteries. When we opened the terminal, we found it was rusted. We were able to clean out the port and put new batteries in and it worked, but only for one month and then it rusted again. My toddler loved it, so I just recently bought a new one when we realized the first one no longer worked. The photo is of the one I just bought. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. This one was so badly rusted, that the spring was attached to the battery and just broke off! My toddler is in love with counting right now and likes the linkimals, so this was the perfect toy for him, so I’m really sad that this one had the same issue. This toy is amazing when it works, don’t get me wrong. I’m only writing a bad review because of the terminal being defective on both toys. I cannot find another retailer that sells this specific linkimal either, so I’m very sad that my only option for purchase doesn’t have ones that work.

The size of it is So easy for a 1 year old or 2 year old to carry, hold, and navigate (once they are shown how it works). Great sound, product, great price & very interacting. 10 out of 10!

The media could not be loaded. I wish someone had showed me the features of this whale linkamals as I was debating the purchase. If you are considering trying out linkamals, I would recommend starting with one of the bigger animals like the penguin , owl, or maybe even sloth. This by itself will not wow your kid. However, it is a great addition if you already have a collection. It has numbers 1-20 (similar to owl) , and a quiz button to test your little one. I purchased it because my 2-yr old son loves sea animals. I did feel that he grew quickly bored of this one in comparison to his others. It doesn’t have a per-se music button like the otter , penguin, koala and owl do. I decided to keep it because it’s fun to hear them all sing their main linkamals song and the whale introduces itself. Here’s to hoping my son will grow to like it.
