Great piece of metal made skipping the trip to the metal market that much easier. Quality is top notch

The exterior of the rod is not perfectly smooth. There are flats and other deformations along the length of the rod. But, it is "mill finish". So, this should be expected. For a finer finish, the rod is easily placed on a lathe and polished with emery cloth. Dimensions are within a few thousandths depending on how you measure at the deformations. Very good.

I got this to replace the 3 peace section that came with my log splitter after I broke 2 of the sections.

I bought it to replace an axle on a yard trailer. I did have to do a little bit of grinding but it fits and works great! I put lawnmower tires on it.

Been buying from here recently and have had awesome experience. Pretty expensive as any good metal is gonna be but my for sure go to10/10

Not sure what this product is useful for, but unless you have a metal lathe and know how to use it you can’t fit it to a pillow block— even then some parts of the rod are under dimension by 0.020”, so even if you made it round you’d still have a loose fit. And what’s with the visible bend? You’d do better for less money starting with a piece of rebar.
