Keep dry
This would have worked out fine if I had a little more experience with it. I would have saved it until the last thing on the cake. Do not get water drops on it, it will bleed. Keep it flat and in a cool spot. Keep it on the plastic backing and in the envelope until ready to use. Once it warms up it is more flexible and prone to tear. Be sure the surface of your cake is even. The unevenness shows through. Having a cake pan the same size is helpful so you don't have to cut cake to fit. Learn by experience.
